  • Patent number: 11965972
Abstract: A method for determining a location of a vehicle includes a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) location system in a manufacturing environment. The method includes determining, when a key cycle transition condition of the vehicle and a vehicle gear transition condition of the vehicle are satisfied, a location parameter of the vehicle using an auxiliary location detection system, where the location parameter includes a location of the vehicle, identification information of the vehicle, and a timestamp of the vehicle. The method includes determining a vehicle time period based on the location parameter and a previous location parameter of the vehicle and validating a manufacturing routine of the vehicle when the location parameter satisfies a location condition and the vehicle time period satisfies a time condition.

  • Patent number: 11906076
Abstract: A valve body, for use in a valve housing having an inlet and outlet, includes a spherical outer surface. A flow opening extends diametrically from one side of the outer surface to an opposing side. A plurality of flow control passageways extend from the outer surface into the valve body. The valve body is moveable relative to the valve housing between a closed position, a restricted flow position, and a free flow position. In the closed position, the flow opening and all of the plurality of flow control passageways are out of alignment with the inlet and outlet. In the restricted flow position, at least one flow control passageway is moved into fluid communication with the inlet and outlet to facilitate fluid communication therebetween. In the free flow position, the flow opening is moved into fluid communication with the inlet and outlet to facilitate fluid communication therebetween.

  • Publication number: 20240051223
Abstract: Various implementations include a fused filament fabrication print head system that includes a nozzle, a heating block, and a cooling element. The nozzle defines a nozzle opening and a filament flow path and is configured to deposit a filament through the nozzle opening. The heating block is coupled to the nozzle such that the filament flow path extends through the heating block. The heating block includes a heating element. The cooling element is spaced apart from the heating block along the filament flow path and is configured to provide localized cooling to a portion of the filament at a location along the filament flow path prior to the heating block. The localized cooling provided by the cooling element preserves the stiffness of the filament and ensures sufficient back pressure to push the filament through the heating block and nozzle opening.
