  • Publication number: 20200186354
Abstract: Examples associated with digital composition hashing are described. One example method includes receiving a digital composition file from a user. The digital composition file may include a top-level design and a hierarchy of sub-level designs. A hashed structure may be generated from the digital composition file, where a node in the hashed structure for the first sub-level design is generated based on hashes of sub-level designs below the first sub-level design in the hierarchy. The hashed structure and a hash of the digital composition file are stored in association with the user.

  • Publication number: 20200159696
Abstract: In one aspect, the present disclosure provides a system and method for distributed data storage and delivery using blockchain. For example, a file can be received from a participant and split into constituent files. A hash value for the received file and each of the constituent files can be generated, and the constituent files can be encrypted using one or more predetermined or user selected encryption keys. The encrypted files can be stored in at least one storage location. Upon receiving a file retrieval request, each file of the plurality of encrypted files can be retrieved and decrypted using the one or more predetermined or user selected encryption keys. A hash value for each decrypted file can be generated and compared to hash values for the corresponding files of the plurality of constituent files, or a hash value for the recombined constituent files can be generated and compared to the hash value for the original file. Other aspects also are described.

  • Publication number: 20200151355
Abstract: In an example, a method includes acquiring, at a processor, object generation source data representing a three-dimensional object to be generated in additive manufacturing. A dataset which is representative of an aspect of the three-dimensional object may be determined from the object generation source data. Digital security may be applied to the object generation source data and the dataset. The digital security applied to the object generation source data may be different from that which is applied to the dataset.

  • Patent number: 10584788
Abstract: A gearbox isolator (10) is provided to allow the gas within a gearbox cavity (50) to expand and contract in a manner that prevents the ingestion of airborne contaminants such as moisture and particulate matter. The gearbox isolator utilizes a breather bladder (22), a check valve (36) for venting gas to the atmosphere when the breather bladder is filled to capacity, and a desiccant filter (32) to provide make-up air to the gearbox when the breather bladder is empty. The desiccant filter is provided in a sealed canister (34) having a check valve (38) allowing atmospheric gas into the sealed canister when needed.

  • Patent number: 10544900
Abstract: According to the invention, an extendable member is disclosed. The extendable member may include a structure having a first state and a second state. The structure may be deformable between the first state and the second state. In the first state the structure may include a compact form. In the second state the structure may include a hollow longeron having a slit along the entire length of the hollow longeron. One or both longitudinal edges along the slit of the hollow longeron may have lateral protrusions. The lateral protrusions of a longitudinal edge may act in such a way with the other edge, and possibly its protrusions, to at least partially inhibit relative motion of the edges.

  • Publication number: 20190374914
Abstract: Embodiments of a vending system are disclosed for delivering custom paints, permitting automated paint mixing and dispensing without the need for assistance. Customizable paint may be ordered locally or remotely, possibly with improved color matching that leverages color references to compare a known color with a color as observed within an image provided by the customer. Dimensional estimates of the surface to be painted may be possible using scale references within an image provided by the customer, to provide quantity suggestions. Common consumer products, having packaging of known color and dimensions, placed within the image provided by the customer may provide both color references and scale references. A preview function may replicate the image provided by the customer, but indicating the new paint color, as adjusted according to an analysis of one or more color references.

  • Publication number: 20190172003
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for providing adequate instructions to conduct an inventory of a store, and specifically a how to provide an accurate inventory of difficult to count items. As a store is performing an inventory, instructions to perform re-counts of specific items are sent. As the re-count begins, videos, text, or other materials needed to perform a complete re-count are distributed to the store associate performing the re-count task. If the re-count is outside pre-defined thresholds, an additional task to re-count the item may be assigned. Based on these actions, the set of rules used to identify when the re-count should occur can be modified.
