  • Publication number: 20240127954
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and devices of detecting illness in presymptomatic and asymptomatic infected persons using wearable sensor technology. In a first embodiment, a method is implemented on a computing device, the method includes receiving first sensor data associated with the person over a first period of time and applying the first sensor data to a multi-variate detection model. The method further includes receiving second sensor data associated with the person over a second period of time and applying the second sensor data to the multi-variate detection model. Further the method includes determining a probability value of the illness in the person using the multi-variate detection model and transmitting the probability value to a user interface (UI).

  • Patent number: 11948786
Abstract: A night vision system, a microchannel plate (MCP), and a planetary deposition system and methodology are provided for selectively depositing an electrode contact metal on one side of MCP channel openings. One or more MCPs can be releasably secured to a face of a platter that rotates about its central platter axis. The rotating platter can be tilted on a rotating ring fixture surrounding an evaporative source of contact metal. Therefore, the rotating platter further rotates so that it orbits around the evaporative source of contact metal. A mask with a variable size mask opening is arranged between the rotating platter and the evaporative source. While the mask orbits around the evaporative source with the rotating platter, the mask does not rotate along its own axis as does the rotating platter.

  • Publication number: 20180219505
Abstract: Triangular capacitor arrays have been used for many years to match inductive impedance and to correct power factor in 3-phase circuits. Recent studies of the electrical properties of the phase balance capacitor array, including harmonics retention, have revealed new methods of reducing system harmonic interference which combine to significantly increase induction motor efficiency. For example, in inductive circuits, by varying the capacitance of these arrays using harmonic sensors and feedback loops, a method is shown to construct harmonic filters within the motor-PB array complex. If these harmonics, which are necessary for motor action, are not dissipated, then they don't need to be regenerated, thus saving power and improving the motor efficiency by 3%-5%. In addition, these symmetric capacitor arrays can be used to balance the magnitudes of the single-phase voltage and amperage signals, moving them closer to the mean values over the 3 phases.

  • Publication number: 20060214706
Abstract: A frequency divider with reduced phase noise accepts a single-ended signal, converts it to a differential signal, and processes the differential signal through a series of dividers. The differential output of the divider chain is fed to a differential limiting amplifier which produces the output.

  • Publication number: 20030225998
Abstract: Digital processor apparatus having an instruction set architecture (ISA) with instruction words of varying length. In the exemplary embodiment, the processor comprises an extended user-configurable RISC processor with four-stage pipeline (fetch, decode, and writeback) and associated logic that is adapted to decode and process both 32-execute, bit and 16-bit instruction words present in a single program, thereby increasing the flexibility of the instruction set, and allowing for greater code compression and reduced memory overhead. Free-form use of the different length instructions is provided with no required mode shift. An improved instruction aligner and code compression architecture is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 4977031
Abstract: A packing material, generally in sheet form, is made from a combination of a support sheet and a water-retentive material that is intimately connected to the support sheet. Moisture or exudate originating from a product enclosed by the packing material is absorbed and retained by the water-retentive material without affecting the physical strength of the support sheet or the packaged product. In a preferred embodiment, the support sheet is made of paper or a polymeric material, such as polyethylene, and the water retentive material is formed from polyacrylonitrile, or an acrylonitrile based co-polymer, treated with an alkaline aqueous solution of aliphatic or cycloaliphatic monofunctional or polyfunctional alcohols that have melting points greater than or equal to 110.degree. C. The packaging material is ideal for the packaging of moisture sensitive foods, such as cheese.
