    Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to a social distancing device to ensure people maintain a recommended social distance apart. The device is compact for ease in carrying when not in use, yet extendible to the recommended social distance, which in the case of COVID-19 was six feet. When in use, the device extends exactly the recommended social distance from the end of the handle to the tip of the device. Hence, a user can hold the device in one hand and ensure that no other person is closer than the tip of the device. By using the device, proper social distancing recommended by the government can be maintained.

    Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to a telescoping band system that may be used to fasten an object to another object. An example of such a system is a watch band for securing a wrist watch to a user. The telescoping band system includes a plurality of linking elements that are coupled together. Additionally, one or more pass through elements extend through the linking elements. When the pass through elements are pulled, the linking elements move closer together. As such, the telescoping band system and adjust to the size of the object, such as the user's arm.

    Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to a tightening apparatus, a wristband having the same, and a wristwatch having the same. In one embodiment, a plurality of pieces are coupled together and to a housing, and have one or more wires running through at least a first piece and a second piece of the plurality of pieces. The first and second pieces of the plurality of pieces are spaced a distance apart. The housing partially encloses at least a ratchet having a center axis, and a spool coupled to the ratchet, the spool being rotatable about an axis that is collinear with the center axis. The one or more wires are coupled to the spool, and are configured to wind around the spool when the spool rotates. As the spool rotates, the distance between at least the first and second pieces of the plurality of pieces is reduced.
