Abstract: A simulator is disclosed for training a responder to react in situations that have the potential for the use of force when encountering a main character, such as a person, whom a police officer might encounter during a routine stop and search. The simulator is equipped with natural language recognition and processing such that the main character reacts to voice commands from the trainee. In addition, feedback from the weapon and the weapon aimpoint alters the behavior of the main character. The dynamic scenario architecture is responsive to the language and weapon and interacts with the main character to affect the main character's behavior. The main character is equipped with a behavioral model to vary behavior in a given scenario.
