  • Publication number: 20220333808
Abstract: A system for analyzing a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system includes: a processor; a display device controlled by the processor; a wireless communication module configured to receive a plurality of measurements from a plurality of different HVAC test instruments arranged to take measurements from the HVAC system, each of the HVAC test instruments providing one or more of the measurements; and a memory having instructions stored thereon where, when the instructions are executed by the processor, cause the processor to: receive the measurements from the different HVAC test instruments via the wireless communication module; convert the measurements to a common format; store the measurements in the common format in the memory; and display the measurements on the display device.

  • Patent number: 7681127
Abstract: A method, for dynamic document localization, includes issuing a request for locale-neutral content, the request having a locale-neutral identifier. The locale-neutral content is received responsive to the request. Localized language content is built by applying a language setting for a current language selection to the locale-neutral content. The language setting includes a language-specific string in a strings data structure corresponding to the current language selection.

  • Publication number: 20060010987
Abstract: A method and apparatus for measuring the flow rate of a single phase fluid, particularly a gas, through a conduit. A pulse of tracer fluid is discharged or injected into a first fluid flowing through a conduit, the concentration of the tracer fluid is measured as a function of time at a pont downstream from where it is injected, and the flow rate of the first fluid is determined based on the concentration measurements. The concentration of tracer fluid is preferably sampled substantially continuously from when the tracer gas first passes the measuring point until substantially all of the tracer fluid has passed the measuring point and the sampled concentrations integrated. The concentration of tracer fluid is preferably determined by measuring the thermal conductivity of the mixture of the first fluid and tracer fluid which is dependent upon the concentration of the tracer fluid.

  • Patent number: 6865716
Abstract: A method and apparatus are described for dynamic localization of electronic documents. A user sends a request for a computer system resource from a client computer system (client) via a client application such as Web browser (browser). The request specifies a locale-neutral location identifier, such as a locale-neutral uniform resource locator (URL). The locale-neutral location identifier is sent to a server (server). Server retrieves the locale-neutral contents from the location specified by the location identifier, and delivers the locale-neutral contents to client. Client retrieves locale settings based on a selected locale. A localization function builds localized contents by applying the locale settings to the locale-neutral contents.

  • Patent number: 5999372
Abstract: An apparatus and associated method are described which reduce air turbulence in a disc drive assembly. In a method of use, a groove is machined into a side portion of an actuator arm and then a streamlined actuator arm side rail is inserted into the groove to provide streamlining characteristics to the actuator arms. An actuator arm is provided which has a groove which extends along a side portion of the actuator arm. A streamlined side rail is attached to the side portion of the actuator arm, and is preferably arrowhead-shaped so that the side rail mates with the groove. The streamlined side rail reduces air turbulence in the disc drive caused by air flow against and around the actuator arms, yielding an improvement in the power consumption of the disc pack spindle motor.
