  • Publication number: 20060021790
Abstract: An enclosure formed from a first compartment and an identical second compartment to house an electrical connector. Each compartment has a main body that is defined by a first wall, a second wall and ends. The first wall of each compartment has an outer tab with at least one projection that extends inwards and an inner tab positioned adjacent to the outer tab. The second wall of each compartment has an aperture. When the compartments are mounted to each other to form the enclosure, the projection of the first wall of the first compartment is disposed in the aperture in the second wall of the second compartment and the projection of the first wall of the second compartment is disposed in the aperture in the second wall of the first compartment. The enclosure also includes a label and label cover that are disposed inside the enclosure to identify the connector.

  • Publication number: 20060026406
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide full benefit of the cover instruction provided by the Intel IA-64 architecture to code running at less than highest privilege level. In one embodiment of the present invention, prior to execution of a cover instruction by non-privileged code, the code obtains and stores the contents of the current-frame-marker register in memory. Then, the code executes a cover instruction to obtain a new, empty register stack frame and to relegate the registers of previously allocated stack frames to the dirty-register status. Subsequently, the processor state represented by the register values of the stack frame that was current when the cover instruction was executed can be recovered by first executing another cover instruction, computing a previous-frame-marker-register value and placing the computed value into the previous-frame-marker register, executing a first branch (br.

  • Publication number: 20060023258
Abstract: A method for minimizing boundary effects when switching between halftone screens on a scanline, includes selecting a first halftone screen having a first fundamental frequency and a first angle for printing pixels of a first type; and selecting a second halftone screen having a second fundamental frequency and a second angle for printing pixels of a second type, wherein the second frequency and second angle are harmonically matched to the first frequency and first angle, wherein at least one pixel of the second type is adjacent to a pixel of the first type. In one embodiment, the first and second frequencies are selected to have a substantially zero frequency beat. In another, the first and second frequencies are selected to have a substantially high frequency beat.

  • Publication number: 20060023708
Abstract: A Fibre Channel router used to join fabrics. EX_ports are used to connect to the fabrics. The EX_port joins the fabric but the router will not merge into the fabric. Ports in the Fibre Channel router can be in a fabric, but other ports can be connected to other fabrics. Fibre Channel routers can be interconnected using a backbone fabric. Global, interfabric and encapsulation headers are developed to allow routing by conventional Fibre Channel switch devices in the backbone fabric and simplify Fibre Channel router routing. Phantom domains and devices must be developed for each of the fabrics being interconnected. Front phantom domains are present at each port directly connected to a fabric. Each of these is then connected to at least one translate phantom domain. Zoning is accomplished by use of a special LSAN zoning naming convention. This allows each administrator to independently define devices are accessible.

  • Publication number: 20060026579
Abstract: In various embodiments of the present invention, debugging and program-behavior-analysis software can reconstruct register-based processor states for nested routine calls from the backing-store memory employed by a modern processor, and by processors of similar architectures, to automatically spill and restore register values via a register stack engine. Sufficient information resides in the backing-store memory to reconstruct the stack frames for all nested routines. However, reconstructing the stack frames from the backing-store memory depends on identifying stored register vales in the backing-store memory containing saved values of the previous-frame-marker application register. Various embodiments of the present invention employ a set of heuristic tests to evaluate stored values in the backing-store memory in order to identify those values corresponding to the stored contents of the previous-frame-marker application register.

Abstract: Operating parameters as were previously learned by a first movable barrier operator (18) are transferred to a second movable barrier operator (10) such as, for example, to a replacement movable barrier operator. Pursuant to a preferred approach, such information transfer occurs via a receiver interface (13) that ordinarily serves to couple the movable barrier operator (10) to one or more remote user interfaces (11). Pursuant to one approach this transfer occurs during a learning mode of operation.

  • Publication number: 20060025562
Abstract: Cyclic oligomers containing ester linkages are polymerized in the presence of a catalyst having at least one oxygen atom bonded to two metal atoms. At least one of the metal atoms is a tin atom, which is preferably tetravalent, i.e., bonded to three other groups in addition to the oxygen atom. The other metal atom may also be another tin atom, which is again preferably tetravalent, or a zinc, aluminum or titanium atom. The catalyst may contain multiple oxygen atoms that are bonded to two such metal atoms as described. These catalysts are active, efficient polymerization catalysts. They are often liquids at polymerization temperatures. The catalysts can be formed in situ in the polymerization process, which provides additional flexibility in the process and increased storage stability of starting materials.

  • Publication number: 20060024380
Abstract: The invention is directed to collagenous tissues which have been treated to remove non-collagenous components such as cells, cellular debris, and other extracellular matrix components, such as proteoglycans and glycosaminoglycans, normally found in native tissues. Treatment of the tissue with alkali, chelating agents, acids and salts removes non-collagenous components from the collagenous tissue matrix while controlling the amount of swelling and dissolution so that the resultant collagen matrix retains its structural organization, integrity and bioremodelable properties. The process circumvents the need to use detergents and enzymes which detrimentally affect the cell compatibility, strength and bioremodelability of the collagen matrix. The collagenous tissue matrix is used for implantation, repair, or use in a mammalian host.
