  • Patent number: 11308047
Abstract: System, method, and various embodiments for providing a data access and recommendation system are described herein. An embodiment operates by identifying a column access of one or more data values of a first column of a plurality of columns of a table of a database during a sampling period. A count of how many of the one or more data values are accessed during the column access are recorded. A first counter, corresponding to the first column and stored in a distributed hash table, is incremented by the count. The sampling period is determined to have expired. A load recommendation on how to load data values into the first column based on the first counter is computed. The load recommendation for implementation into the database for one or more subsequent column accesses is provided.

  • Patent number: 11308442
Abstract: Sensor data from load cells at a shelf is processed using a first time window to produce first event data describing coarse and sub-events. Location data is determined that indicates where on the shelf weight changes occurred at particular times. Hypotheses are generated using information about where items are stowed, weights of those of items, type of event, and the location data. If confidence values of these hypotheses are below a threshold value, second event data is determined by merging adjacent sub-events. This second event data is then used to determine second hypotheses which are then assessed. A hypothesis with a high confidence value is used to generate interaction data indicative of picks or places of particular quantities of particular types of items from the shelf.

  • Patent number: 11306631
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for assessing a state of a vent hose that fluidically couples a crankcase of an engine to an engine air intake system. In one example, a method may include sealing the crankcase from the vent hose, initiating cranking of the engine, monitoring a series of pressure pulsations during a monitoring window duration via a pressure sensor positioned between a crankcase oil separator and the vent hose, and indicating a presence of degradation associated with the vent hose based on the series of pressure pulsations and the monitoring window duration. In this way, diagnosis of a state of the vent hose may be reliably assessed without crankcase pressures confounding pressure measurements as recorded via the pressure sensor.

  • Patent number: 11307661
Abstract: An electronic device has a housing that forms an exterior surface of the electronic device. An array of actuators is coupled to the housing and is operable to move the housing in order to produce sound waves and/or haptic output via the exterior surface. In this way, less space is consumed by acoustic and haptic devices as compared to similar conventional devices, thereby allowing for thinner electronic devices and/or room for other components within the housing. The actuators may be operable to move different regions of the housing to produce sound waves and/or haptic output within different frequency ranges.
