  • Patent number: 11111980
Abstract: A unidirectional damping system includes a shaft and unidirectional damping modules. Each module is fixedly coupled to the shaft. Each module includes a fluid-filled variable-volume chamber and spring(s). The chamber has at least one port through which fluid flows based on changes in volume of the chamber wherein, when the shaft is adapted to have a unidirectional force applied thereto, the chamber decreases in volume. The spring(s) is coupled to the chamber for increasing volume of the chamber when the unidirectional force is not applied to the shaft. A fluid-filled spacer chamber is coupled between adjacent modules and is uncoupled from the shaft. The spacer chamber includes at least one venting port through which fluid flows based on pressure in the spacer chamber.

  • Patent number: 11115416
Abstract: In a computer system implemented method for generating an authorized response to a message in a network, messages with content that relates to a group are sent by an originator via a network are detected. The computer system determines that the message relates to the group by analyzing the message content. Members of the group are selected as designated senders to contribute to an authorized response to the message for the group by analyzing the message. Selected designated senders are notified that they are selected to contribute to the authorized response and initial responses to the originator from the designated senders are intercepted. The computer system combines the initial responses from the designated senders for generating a combined response as an authorized response for the group and sends the combined response to the originator via the network as the authorized response for the group.

Abstract: Non-human animals, cells, methods and compositions for making and using the same are provided, wherein the non-human animals and cells comprise an immunoglobulin heavy chain locus that includes unrearranged human immunoglobulin light chain gene segments and an immunoglobulin light chain locus that includes a single rearranged human light chain variable region nucleotide sequence. The unrearranged human light chain gene segments may be operably linked to a heavy chain constant region nucleotide sequence and the rearranged human immunoglobulin light chain variable region nucleotide sequence may be operably linked to a light chain constant region nucleotide sequence. Also provided are methods for obtaining nucleic acid sequences that encode immunoglobulin light chain variable domains capable of binding an antigen in the absence of a cognate variable domain, and expressing such nucleic acid sequences in a host cell, e.g., to generate a multispecific antigen-binding protein.

  • Patent number: 11114998
Abstract: There is disclosed acoustic resonators and filter devices. An acoustic resonator includes a substrate having a surface and a Z-cut piezoelectric plate having parallel front and back surfaces, the back surface attached to the surface of the substrate except for a portion of the piezoelectric plate forming a diaphragm that spans a cavity in the substrate. An interdigital transducer (IDT) is formed on the front surface of the single-crystal piezoelectric plate such that interleaved fingers of the IDT are disposed on the diaphragm. The IDT is configured to excite a primary acoustic mode in the diaphragm in response to a radio frequency signal applied to the IDT. A thickness of the interleaved fingers of the IDT is greater than or equal to 0.85 times a thickness of the diaphragm.

  • Patent number: 11110221
Abstract: A system for managing administration of insulin to a user includes an infusion pump to effect controlled delivery of insulin A user interface device displays representations of user intake items. A database stores a catalog of intake items. A programmed processing system is programmed with a baseline user insulin delivery program to make a calculation of insulin to be delivered according to the baseline insulin delivery program or according to a modified baseline insulin delivery program based upon user input data. The user provides user input using the user interface application to identify representations of any of the plurality of intake items and the processing system automatically effects delivery of insulin to the user according to the modified baseline insulin delivery program, instead of the baseline insulin delivery program.
