  • Publication number: 20250290650
Abstract: A window-based HVAC interface system is provided as a convenient solution for installing and interfacing to a ventilation system in a new building or for upgrading an aging HVAC system in an existing building. The HVAC interface system may be optionally integrated with a window. The HVAC interface system includes separate but connectable components, including a hooded vent unit extending from the interior of a room, through a wall or window structure to the exterior, and connected thereto, a plenum box disposed in the room interior. The plenum box is configured to facilitate connection to an HVAC system such as an HPAC unit. The hooded vent unit may be provided as a portion of an integrated window assembly.

  • Publication number: 20070198484
Abstract: A system and method for dynamically composing a class is provided. A query is parsed and a compiler object tree is generated that corresponds to the operators in the query. A set of feature requests and responses are initiated and a set of feature objects are generated that are executed at runtime. The language of the query may be extended by registering a new operator, and optionally a new feature for a query language, with a search engine without modifying the source code of the search engine. The new operator may be specified in a plug-in and provided to the search engine via the plug-in. An application converts an end user query into an application query that conforms to the query language supported by the search engine and includes the new operator. The application query may also include references to traditional programming constructs and search engine primitives.

  • Patent number: 5819258
Abstract: A top-down clustering method and apparatus recursively processes clusters of documents by first extracting features from the documents comprising the cluster, then using the extracted features to generate sub-clusters and finally using the generated sub-clusters to develop topics and identifiers for each sub-cluster. This process is repeated for each cluster and sub-cluster in a recursive manner so that clustering is performed using features extracted from each document in a cluster to perform sub-clustering. Feature extraction is performed by using frequency counts of terms taken from each document in a cluster and discarding terms falling outside of predetermined boundaries computed based on the total number of documents in the cluster. After bounding, the number of tokens is reduced prior to clustering by means of a correlation technique, such as a PCA model.
