Abstract: A hook assembly for mounting to a body component having a pair of openings is provided. The hook assembly includes a pin member and a hook housing. The pin member includes a base portion and a pair of insertion pins extending upwardly from the base portion. The hook housing includes a top surface and a pair of interior channels. A pair of clip prongs are positioned at each opening of the pair of interior channels. A hook member extends outwardly from the hook housing. The hook housing is coupled to the body component by inserting the pair of clip prongs into the openings formed in the body component in a clip prong insertion direction. The pair of insertion pins are inserted into the pair of interior channels in a pin insertion direction to secure the pin member and the hook housing to the body component.

Abstract: The present invention is a method and system for managing a secure local area network wherein the local area network includes a plurality of private networks logically linked to a wireless network having a plurality of wireless access points for isolating data traffic. The system provides authentication of the user devices, segregation of the user device into logical wireless virtual local area networks (WVLANs), and places the private networks into virtual local area networks (VLANs). By linking WVLANs with the appropriate VLANs, the management system provides segregation of user device traffic, as well as private network traffic, despite a shared physical network. By consolidating wireless networks in a multi-tenant environment, the work area of each individual tenant is expanded to a building wide roaming area, and radio frequency interference is reduced. In addition, by coupling together numerous wireless networks a greater roaming capability is created across all managed wireless networks.

Abstract: An in-car communication apparatus includes a connection seat being externally provided on one side with a recess, and internally including a processing unit, to which an input element, an output element, an operating element, a power plug, and a conducting section at a bottom of the recess are electrically connected; and a transmission device being removably set in the recess on the connection seat, and internally including a signal processing unit, to which a Bluetooth transceiver unit, a connector unit, a receiving unit, and a transmitting section corresponding to the conducting section are electrically connected. With these arrangements, the transmission device may be associated with the connection seat to be used as a hand-free phone in a car, and linked with a portable electronic device via the Bluetooth transceiver unit to receive and transmit speech signals and stereo musical signals.

With the voice receiving unit and the bidirectional wireless communication unit, the multi-functional presenter performs not only the functions of paging up/down, pointing images, giving the user a reminder, etc., but also enables on-site voice recording and storing the recorded voice signals on the external electronic device.

Abstract: A system for providing presentation via network includes a computer system at a first end having a presentation image retrieval module that retrieves and convents presentation contents into a presentation image and transmits the presentation image to a first instant messaging module on the first computer system, and the presentation image is further transmitted via a network to a second instant messaging module on at least one computer system at a second end for showing on a display of the second computer system. Therefore, a presentation can be given without the need of gathering a presenter and many audiences at a specified place.

Abstract: A data read/write device capable of reading SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card includes a SIM card slot, into which a SIM card is inserted and read; an internally provided SIM card connector for transmitting data of the SIM card inserted in the SIM card slot; a microprocessor for receiving and reading data of a SIM card transmitted from the SIM card connector, and a SIM card carrier detect (CD) pin provided between the SIM card connector and the microprocessor for detecting any SIM card in the SIM card slot. The SIM card CD pin is capable of informing the microprocessor to stop reading data of SIM card when the SIM card is withdrawn from the SIM card slot, so that the microprocessor is prevented from burning out due to faulty operation or falling into infinite loop of reading.

Therefore, users can listen to music from another sound input device through a blank radio channel without changing the existing radio structure, and the invention achieves the effect of a convenient uninterfered operation.

The rotatable USB downstream port is able to vertically circle upward from the groove, convenient for small-scale peripherals to plug in. Besides, it can be stored horizontally into the groove on the housing after rotating 90-degree downward. The improved USB hub is space-saving, convenient for plugging in and pleasing to the eyes.

Abstract: An improvement to the process for separating dimethyl ether (DME) from byproducts in a one-step catalytic conversion of synthesis gas (syngas), the improvement comprising using a scrubbing solvent comprising a mixture of dimethyl ether and methanol for the separation of dimethyl ether and carbon dioxide from the unconverted synthesis gas in a scrubbing column. Additional improvements include recycling of the scrubbing solution, multi-step processing of the liquid effluent from the scrubber, and methods of processing the methanol-water effluent of the flash column that is interposed between the DME reactor and the scrubber.
