Abstract: This is a method and apparatus for bridge collision alert and monitoring impact analysis, which allows users of the method and apparatus to continuously monitor the integrity of a bridge as well as to detect insult or impact to the bridge structure or both as well as viewing purposes as for forensic purposes. The system is comprised of a series of monitors that gather different pieces of date and integrate that data into a system for view by the operator.

In one exemplary embodiment, a method for implementing a browser object container comprises the steps of identifying content data for inclusion in a browser object container; defining one or more navigation options for defining how one or more recipients view the content data as provided by the browser object container; adding the content data with the one or more navigation options to the browser object container; compressing the content definition into a compressed file; encrypting the compressed file into an encrypted file; and electronically transmitting the browser object container wherein the one or more recipients navigate through the content data as allowed by the one or more navigation options within the browser object container.

Abstract: A method and system for creating a controllable, shaped, and scalable graphical user interface (“GUI”) object for use in an application program displayed on a computer. An infinite resolution scheme according to the present invention may display a GUI in any shape at any size with minimal or no loss of original image quality. Infinite resolution may be accomplished by storing optimized vector image data (“OVID”), as opposed to raster-type data, for the outline and body of the image to be displayed. When the image is resized or reshaped, the OVID is accessed so that the original quality of the image is captured and maintained.
