  • Patent number: 4082007
Abstract: In combination with a sprocket chain trained in a loop around sprockets and having a straight reach having an extending member affixed thereto and adapted to be moved by motion of the chain, a guide consisting of an elongated, fixed track extending along the straight chain reach, and fingers affixed to the chain and slidably engaging the track, interengagement of the track and fingers serving to prevent bodily movement of the chain at the extending member transversely of itself either in the plane of the chain loop or transversely to the chain loop, and to prevent tilting of the chain in the plane of the chain loop responsively to loads applied to the outer end of the extending member affixed to the chain.

  • Patent number: 4022138
Abstract: A drapery pleating guide for sewing machines consisting of a base plate adapted to be supported by and moved over the bed plate of a sewing machine in a direction parallel to the stitch line, and slotted to permit stitching therethrough, a pair of guide fingers carried by the base plate parallel to the stitch line and at respectively opposite sides of the stitch line, and mechanism whereby one guide finger may be accurately spaced from the stitch line at a distance equal to one-half the fabric width to be used in each pleat, and the other guide finger spaced oppositely from the stitch line at a distance equal to one-half the pleat width plus the fabric width between pleats.

  • Patent number: 4006502
Abstract: In connection with electrical terminals which are elongated and each having at one end a tubular ferrule adapted to be crimped about a stripped conductor wire inserted therein, a packaging therefor in which a series of the terminals are adhered in spaced relation along a flexible tape, and an applicator tool comprising a plier-like device having three sets of jaws, a first-closing spring loaded set operable to grip the end terminal of the series loosely, a second-closing spring loaded set operable to cut the tape to sever the gripped terminal from the series, and a third-closing rigid set operable to crimp the ferrule of the terminal.

  • Patent number: 3977103
Abstract: A clamp bar for drapery tables consisting of a length of extruded metal which may be cut to any desired length, and along which a series of manual handle-operated clamps may be secured at any desired intervals for securing an edge of a sheet of drapery fabric thereto, the clamps being applicable separately, a lever member extending substantially the full length of the bar and being pivotal relative thereto about a longitudinal axis to release all of the clamps simultaneously, and a power mechanism operable from a central station to pivot the lever.

  • Patent number: 3964186
Abstract: A drapery table having a clamp bar extending the width thereof and supported thereon parallel to the forward table edge, or to a reference line of the table, clamp devices for securing one edge of a large sheet of fabric to the clamp bar, and a power device for moving said bar laterally to draw said fabric sheet across the table, so as to insure that the line of the fabric at the table edge, or at the reference line, is precisely parallel to the clamped fabric edge. Devices are provided for automatically stopping the bar at the limits of its travel, for adjusting the limits at which bar travel is stopped, for adjusting the bar into precise parallelism with the table edge, or the reference line thereof, and providing for allowing individual application of the clamp devices, but for simultaneous release of all of the clamp devices from a single station.
