  • Publication number: 20040039924
Abstract: System and method for securing a computing device using a master cryptographic key that is bound to the device. The master key is used to derive sensitive data that is transferred to storage that is only accessible in a restricted mode of operation. The master key is used to derive one or more application keys that are used to secure data that is specific to an application/device pair. Non-privileged programs can request functions that run in a more restricted mode to use these application keys. The restricted mode program checks the integrity of the non-privileged calling program to insure that it has the authority and/or integrity to perform each requested operation. One or more device authority servers may be used to issue and manage both master and application keys.

  • Publication number: 20030037237
Abstract: Systems and methods for device authentication using a master key that is stored in protected non-volatile memory. The master key is used to derive sensitive data that is transferred to storage that is only accessible in a privileged mode of operation of the computing system. The sensitive data and the master key are not directly accessible by programs that are not running in the privileged mode of operation. The master key is used to derive one or more application keys that are used to secure data that is specific to an application/device pair. Non-privileged programs can request functions that run in the privileged mode to use these application keys. The privileged mode program checks the integrity of the non-privileged calling program to insure that it has the authority and/or integrity to perform each requested operation. One or more device authority servers are used to issue and manage both master and application keys.

  • Patent number: 5643572
Abstract: The present invention provides novel compositions and methods useful in the, modulation or selective suppression of host immune responses to an immunogen of interest, particularly exogenous antigens and allergens such as urushiol, the active plant component causing poison ivy/oak contact sensitivity. The subject compositions are antibody molecules of either Ab.sub.1 or Ab.sub.2 (anti-idiotypic) reactivity with respect to the sensitizing antigen. Other compositions include specific T cell receptor (TCR) molecules either as T cell clones or hybridomas or as TCR preparations. Immunogenic peptides corresponding to some or all of the complementary determining regions or hyper-variable regions of the TCR are also employed. Such compositions suppress host immune responses to antigen by a variety of pathways including anti-idiotypic interactions with cells involved in antigen processing and stimulation of the immune network.

  • Patent number: 5512283
Abstract: The present invention provides novel compositions and methods useful in the modulation or selective suppression of host immune responses to an immunogen of interest, particularly to immunogens which are exogenous antigens or allergens. Subject compositions include antibody, antibody derived, and antibody-like molecules of primary antigen reactivity with respect to the immunogen of interest. Antibodies or antibody-like or antibody-derived molecules include antibody fragments such as Fab, and complementarity determining region peptides (CDRs) which may be grafted into a framework region of any species, particularly human. They also include human antibodies, derived from sensitized human lymphocytes produced by cell fusion with heterohybridomas, or by DNA cloning and expression. Other compositions include T cell receptor (TCR) molecules, obtained either from T cell clones or hybridomas or as purified TCR preparations.

  • Patent number: 4946675
Abstract: Novel methods and compositions are provided for the enhancement of the biodistribution of immunoconjugates useful in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of conditions including cancer in many of its forms. The compositions of the present invention provide for enhanced bioavailability of immunoconjugates for the most part by blocking mammalian cell surface receptors present on cells of the reticuloendothelial system, especially in tissues responsible for the elimination of waste products and blood filtration. Such tissues include the liver, spleen, and kidneys. The compositions are administered in conjunction with an immunoconjugate in a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle and may be provided in kits for convenient administration.

  • Patent number: 4925922
Abstract: Novel compositions and methods are provided for the treatment of cancer employing monoclonal antibodies (MoAbs) conjugated to a toxin. According to the present invention, MoAbs defining epitopes on either a tumor associated glycoprotein antigen of about 72 kD m.w. or on carcinoembryonic antigen conjugated to a ribosomal inhibiting protein, or the like, are employed either alone or in combination as cytotoxic agents in the treatment of various cancers including, but not limited to, colorectal carcinoma, ovarian carcinoma and osteogenic sarcoma. For some of these compositions, an enhanced or potentiated efficacy is observed when the conjugates are administered along with a related, unconjugated monoclonal antibody.Hybridomas XMMCO-791 and XMMCO-228 were deposited with the A.T.C.C. on Aug. 14, 1986 and given A.T.C.C. Accession Nos. HB 9173 and HB 9174, respectively. Hybridoma XMMBR-B14 was deposited with the A.T.C.C. on Jan. 14, 1987 and given A.T.C.C. Accession No. HB 9308.

  • Patent number: 4708862
Abstract: The present invention relates to the radioimmuno detection of cancers by detecting tumor associated antigens and comprising the following steps:(i) preparing samples of hybridoma XMMCO-791 as herein described,(ii) separating and purifying the associated antibody produced by XMMCO-791 hybridomas to obtain the IgG2b isotype,(iii) labelling the antibody thus obtained with a radio active label,(iv) preparing composition containing an effective concentration of said labelled antibody(v) administering said antibody composition to a patient and(vi) thereafter screening said patient to detect concentrations of radioactivity thereby indicating a concentration of antibody.Hybridoma cell line XMMCO-791 was deposited with the American Type Culture Collection (A.T.C.C.), Rockville, MD 20852-1776, on Aug. 14, 1986, and given A.T.C.C.
