  • Patent number: 6312001
Abstract: A motive vehicle comprises a frame, a front wheel, two rear wheels, a seat, a handle, a headset, and a pedal device. A front sprocket is coupled to the pedal device and a rear sprocket is connected to a differential. The motive vehicle is powered by human pedaling. The differential communicates with the rear wheels to allow the vehicle to turn on a zero turn radius. The wheels are attached to the frame with an attachment apparatus that allows for easy detachability. The seat is also detachable and adjustable. Brake cams are attached to the frame, and engage the rear wheels when the bike is pedaled backwards. An alternative embodiment comprises a multiple operator motive vehicle, wherein a rear vehicle with two wheels is coupled to a front vehicle having three wheels. Further, another two-wheeled follower unit may be coupled to the first rear vehicle for a greater number of riders. Additional attachments may also be made.

  • Patent number: 4918286
Abstract: A method and apparatus for cleaning a metal inert gas arc welder gun of a type having a housing and a flexible conduit disposed in the housing. The flexible conduit has a first end for feeding a consumable welding wire therethrough and a second end adapted to engage with a tubular welding tip for selectively feeding the consumable wire through the flexible conduit and through the welding tip for use. The method involves removing the consumable wire from a major portion of the flexible conduit, injecting a liquid cleaner into the flexible conduit until some of the liquid exits the other end thereof, forcing the liquid cleaner out of theflexible conduit and moving the consumable welding wire back into the flexible conduit and tubular welding tip for use.

  • Patent number: 4739727
Abstract: An energy free animal waterer of a type having an insulated container for holding water, a supply conduit for supplying water under pressure to the container and a valve connected to the supply conduit for maintaining the water in the container substantially at a predetermined level. An insulated lid is sealingly attached to the top of the container and has a pair of openings therein each large enough to permit an animal to extend its mouth therethrough for the purpose of drinking water from the container. A first closure is disposed within the container below the lid for selectively sealingly closing the first opening and a second closure is disposed within the container, below the lid for selectively sealingly closing the second opening. A flexible length member extends between and is rotatably attached to the first and second closure members at each end of the length.
