  • Publication number: 20210295193
Abstract: Embodiments of the present systems and methods may provide techniques for deterministic training of cRBMs. Embodiments may utilize least square error estimates for the hidden variables, which is computationally tractable and provides improved results. For example, in an embodiment, a computer-implemented method for machine learning may comprise generating a continuous restricted Boltzman machine model by replacing discrete valued spins in a discrete restricted Boltzman machine model with continuous values, training the continuous restricted Boltzman machine model using a training dataset using a deterministic training process having hidden variables defined using least square error estimates, and using the trained continuous restricted Boltzman machine model to recognize patterns in new data.

  • Patent number: 7699014
Abstract: The present invention may be used for anchoring a watercraft. A mooring device may have a ground penetrating device attached at a first end of an elongated rod and a slide hammer attached at a second end of the elongated rod. A mooring line may be attached at a first end of the ground penetrating device and may be attachable at a second end to a boat and fixed in length by a rope lock.

  • Patent number: 7350755
Abstract: The watercraft accessory tower mount may be used for attachment of watercraft accessories to a watercraft tower structure. A clamp bracket may be attachable to a clamp base. An accessory attachment may have a rotational shaft disposed for insertion in a rotational aperture of the clamp base. An attachment device may be used to rotatably attach the rotational shaft to the clamp base.

  • Patent number: 7080606
Abstract: The mooring line device may be used for watercraft mooring to for example a dock. A bag may have a first wall, a second wall, two side walls, a bottom wall and a top wall with the top wall having an aperture. A hook may be disposed in the aperture with an attachment element protruding from the bag. The two side walls and the bottom may have a continuous opening with a closure device. A rope at a proximal end may be attached to the hook. A strap may be attached to one of the first or second walls and may be disposed to retain a rope when the rope is folded for storage in the bag.

  • Patent number: 5666422
Abstract: A surround-sound system for use with conventional TV sets, using a wireless remote bipolar rear speaker (or two conventional speakers fed out of phase) for the surround (difference) channels. The use of the rear speaker(s) and the mono (left plus right) front speaker on the TV set creates "phantom" left and right front speakers, and allows full surround sound without modification to the TV set or additional amplifiers or speakers.

  • Patent number: 5386473
Abstract: A passive circuit for decoding surround-sound signals using a transformer having center-tapped primary and secondary windings. The line level left and right signals are introduced into the primary winding, and the center tap of the primary supplies a left-plus-right center channel output. The secondary center tap is grounded, and the winding connections supply left-minus-right and right-minus-left surround outputs. The same circuit can be used for recording surround sound onto a two-channel (stereo) medium. A center microphone is connected to the center tap of the primary winding. Left and right surround microphones are connected to the secondary winding, which has its center tap grounded. The left and right recorder inputs are connected to the opposite sides of the primary winding.

  • Patent number: 4640431
Abstract: There is disclosed a dual-chambered container suited for use in changing the engine oil of a motor vehicle. The container comprises two chambers, one for receiving the used engine oil as it is drained from the motor vehicle and another chamber that contains new oil for replenishing the engine's oil reservoir with fresh oil. The two chambers are independent yet integrally bonded together to form the unique container. Each chamber has its own opening and closure means for receiving, transporting, and dispensing the engine oil.

  • Patent number: 4071184
Abstract: A blade fabricated of a plurality of bonded filament laminates, at least one of the laminates characterized by a plurality of continuous, collimated filaments embedded in a different matrix at the blade tip than at the blade root. The matrices are characterized by different relative impact strengths.
