  • Patent number: 11646962
Abstract: A system and method for hybrid any-cast (unicast, multicast and anycast) routing in a mobile ad hoc communication network (MANET) is disclosed. In embodiments, each communication node of the MANET may implement on-demand routing functions whereby the node does not establish or maintain routes to destination nodes unless there is active communication, discovering routes via flooding of data packets in transit. Each communication node may select, or may transition from on-demand to, proactive routing functions. Proactive nodes first establish routes to clusters of other proactive nodes by flooding, and receiving acknowledgments from, the other proactive nodes. Each cluster of proactive nodes maintains routes within the cluster and establishes communication routes outside the cluster by flooding and relaying of routing status messages via clusterhead and gateway nodes.

  • Patent number: 10719411
Abstract: A method of performing error recovery of encrypted data frames is disclosed. A data packet is received, and a decryption operation is performed on the data packet. The data packet is compared with one or more data packets stored in a recovery buffer to identify a duplicate of the data packet when the decryption operation fails. One or more bits affected by one or more bit errors are identified based on a comparison between the data packet and the duplicate of the data packet. Different combinations of bit values for the one or more bits are determined. The decryption operation is performed on the data packet with the different combinations to identify a correct combination of bit values for the one or more bits. The data packet is recovered (e.g., corrected so that it can be decrypted and consumed) based on the correct combination of bit values.

  • Patent number: 4257994
Abstract: A method of and apparatus for injection molding solid steel-banded industrial rubber tires wherein a steel band is inserted in the bottom mold member cavity when the top mold member is in open position. Bite ring and knockout member components are contained in mold member cavity recesses. Closing movement of the mold members to mated position seals the bite ring and knockout member components against the steel bank and mold member recess surfaces to prevent leakage of injected rubber compound from the cavity during injection and curing. The mold has an internal wedge member which expands a split ring against the steel band when the mold is closed to prevent band distortion from pressure existing when the mold is injected and the rubber is cured therein to form the tire tread portion which is bonded to the steel band during curing. Mold components knock the cured tire out of the top mold member upon opening the mold.
