Patent number: 8752470Abstract: A vehicle construction in which a survivability capsule and underbody V-deflector plate are located off-center relative to the vehicle providing desirable survivability and size characteristics, and minimizing overall vehicle width providing desirable maneuverability characteristics. The survivability capsule is constructed around occupants oriented to minimize capsule width and may incorporate traditional or spaced frame construction. The location of the capsule provides the ability to incorporate a large amount of storage area into the construction of the vehicle, or to use a spaced armor array on one side of the capsule providing protection from road-side threats including EFPs, RPGs, and RKG-3s.Type: GrantFiled: January 31, 2011Date of Patent: June 17, 2014Assignee: Ideal Innovations IncorporatedInventors: Robert W Kocher, David Simon

Publication number: 20130211992Abstract: This invention has the potential to generate very good return on investments from stocks that are conservative in movement. This invention will greatly benefit investors that do not have the time to constantly trade stock yet want to take advantage of normal price fluctuations. The Limit Order Coupled LinK (LOCK) invention, for example, will take a buy order, complete the transaction at the specified price, then automatically resubmits a new order to sell at a specified higher price. If specified, the process can automatically cycle through the buy-sell process a set number of time allowing the investor to take advantage of intra-day market moves and normal stock price fluctuations with no personal investor evolvement. The LOCK order, with set profit margins, allows on-line traders and brokers to place one order, which will automatically generate logical, sequenced additional orders returning a profit on each transaction. LOCK will benefit both the investor and the stock trading company.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 17, 2012Publication date: August 15, 2013Inventor: Robert W. Kocher

Patent number: 8079297Abstract: A contained volume of particulate materials that is optimized for eroding ballistic penetrator, explosively formed penetrators, shaped charges, ballistic fragments, and other ballistic threats. The particulate materials include crushed garnet, crushed ceramics and sand. The volume of particulate materials may be mixed with explosive rods or pills. These explosive rods or pills ignite when the ballistic threat reaches a preset area within the armor box. Particulate material and armor boxes can consist of configurations using ballistic balls and irregular shaped stones or gravel. Alternate embodiments may contain configurations utilizing ballistic rods, electronic timing devices, and explosive detonators.Type: GrantFiled: June 18, 2008Date of Patent: December 20, 2011Assignee: The Right Problem LLCInventor: Robert W. Publication number: 20090025547Abstract: The Highly Survivable Urban Utility Vehicle (HSUUV) provides a novel way to balance the concerns of armor, mobility and cost. Prior art distributes armor to protect all areas of the vehicle evenly, thereby distributing the maximum armor weight capacity evenly. The HSUUV provides armored protection in levels, which vary depending on the location of the armor and that location's ballistic threat. Entrance to the HSUUV is located in location(s) other than the traditional side door(s) so as to provide additional armored protection in the area receiving the greatest ballistic threat. Using the HSUUV, soldiers can safely and quickly enter areas that they otherwise would have had to fight and sustain casualties to enter. The vehicle will give United States forces an unprecedented amount of flexibility, allowing for better strategic and tactical decisions.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 15, 2008Publication date: January 29, 2009Inventor: Robert W. Publication number: 20030182182Abstract: A simplified computerized voting information system that encompasses voting through a voice communication system using the voter's voice in conjunction with their social security number, driver's license number, telephone number to verify the person and register their vote. This database will be used for registration of a person to vote. It contains a database of known records of a person such as a telephone directory which contain the person's name, phone number, address, social security number and driver's license number. This database is the main source which the system will verify a user's identity against. Using the “Caller Id” a function of most phone today, the computerized system will recognize the incoming phone number and register it in the system. Upon its registration of this phone number, it will enter into a verification mode where it will search for the person's record of telephone in the directory database until a match is found.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 18, 2000Publication date: September 25, 2003Inventor: Robert W. Patent number: 5743272Abstract: A common problem among male distance runners and athletes is male nipple abrasion from tee shirts or jerseys during extended exercise. Some men suffer severe chafing and bleeding nipples when they run long distances caused, in large part, as salt crystals forming as perspiration evaporates. The Male Nipple Abrasion Protector device is formed to fit comfortably over the nipple with an adhesive backing that adheres to the dark nipple area (base). The external material has low friction allowing to easily slide against a tee shirt, sweat shirt, normal shirt or outer wear. The adhesive backing will resist perspiration and can be easily removed when desired. The protectors are simple, low cost and disposable. The Male Nipple Abrasion Protector does not require straps or bra type configurations.Type: GrantFiled: April 10, 1996Date of Patent: April 28, 1998Inventor: Robert W. Kocher, Jr.
