Abstract: Methods and systems for managing and/or processing a blockchain to maintain data security for confidential and/or personal data are provided. According to certain aspects, the disclosed data security techniques may enable access sharing functionality utilizing the blockchain. For example, access sharing may be utilized to file documents, share policy information, and/or comply with an audit. The data security techniques disclosed herein also enable the use of smart contracts to transfer funds associated with payment obligations and/or other forms of blockchain based payments, comply with anti-money laundering requirements, report industry data, validate interest payments and/or maintain agent sales data. Data security may be achieved through the use of public key/private key encryption techniques.

Abstract: Methods and systems for processing a blockchain comprising a plurality of immutable sales records corresponding to sales made by agents of an entity are provided. According to certain aspects, a transaction request indicating a sale made by an agent of the entity may be received at a first node. A block including a sales record indicating the sale made by the agent may be added to a blockchain and transmitted to another node for validation. The first node may add the block to a copy of the blockchain, where the block may be identified by a hash value that references a previous block in the blockchain that includes at least one additional sales record.

Abstract: A method for undermounting a sink to a countertop includes preparing a countertop and a sink. Thereafter a primary channel is routed within the backside of the countertop, the primary channel including a base and being shaped and dimensioned for receipt of the sink flange, and a secondary channel is routed within the base of the primary channel along an interior circumference of the primary channel. Substrate material is then removed from the secondary channel to expose an underside of the decorative laminate and adhesive is applied within the secondary channel so that the underside of the decorative laminate is fully covered. A bead of adhesive is applied to the base of the primary channel and the sink flange is placed within the primary channel. A support plate is secured around the sink flange to provide support and a central portion of the countertop defined by the primary channel is cut out to expose the bowl of the sink.

Abstract: Fastener blankets disclosed herein can be fitted over each row of the roof and/or wall support members of a building to enclose the fasteners utilized to secure additional building materials to the building structure. The fastener blankets disclosed herein can provide additional insulating R-value properties at the points of the building where the current standard practices provide avenues of significant energy loss. The fastener blankets form a closed shape with the structural member, and at least partially encloses the structural member.

Abstract: A portable level and square laser alignment tool comprising a base and a separable L-shaped square. The base serves as an adjustable mounting surface upon which the L-shaped square is removably secured via a dual cam mechanism. The L-shaped square comprises two legs positioned at ninety degrees from each other thereby serving as a square to draw and/or test inside or outside right angles. Carried on each leg is a bubble level for providing a means to level the L-shaped square and/or the base. Additionally, a battery powered laser is attached to and is positioned in-line with each leg. The L-shaped square can be utilized alone or in conjunction with the base.

Abstract: A method for loading a stack of filled cartons onto a transport vehicle includes lifting the cartons at the first station on a rotator lift truck and then rotating the cartons through an acute angle to cradle the cartons for carrying purposes. The cartons are then carried in their rotative position towards a second station, and again rotated to an upright position. The cartons are compressed at the second station and thereafter loaded onto the transport vehicle by a second lift truck. The rotator lift truck utilized for effecting the lifting, rotating, carrying and compressing steps includes a mast assembly mounted forwardly thereon and a rotator attachment mounted on the mast assembly for vertical movements and for rotation about a longitudinal axis thereof.

Abstract: An elongated shank has a handgrip at the rear end portion. At the forward end portion there is a holder for releasably retaining a cigarette lighter of the throwaway gas or butane type having a conventional flint wheel and a gas valve actuator. An actuator rod is guided for reciprocable sliding movement along the shank. The rod is urged forward along the shank by a biasing spring and may be pulled backward against the spring by a trigger adjacent the handgrip. An integral outer extension of the rod, forward of the holder, is movable between extended and retracted positions by the biasing spring and the trigger, respectively. An elastic friction member, consisting of a backwardly extending, cantileverly supported, diagonally oriented coil spring is mounted on the outer extension and is movable backward by the trigger to engage and rotate the flint wheel and depress the valve actuator. This ignites the lighter and holds it ignited as long as the trigger is held.

Abstract: A scavenger system for anesthesia circuits having a breathing bag and an escape passageway in said bag, a pair of telescoping tubular components having slots therein and being rotatable to vary the opening created by the alignment of said slots, and a laterally extending parabolic conduit terminating in an enlarged areating chamber in which a vacuum is maintained to draw the gas out of said chamber without placing a negative pressure on the escape passageway.

Abstract: A breathing device employed in administering anesthetic gases to patients in a respirating system in which the exhaled gases are passed to the atmosphere rather than captured and rebreathed. The circuit herein defined is a simple, reliable and economical anesthesia circuit particularly designed for use on children and infants, and that is disposable, and that may be adjusted during use.
