  • Patent number: 7526876
Abstract: A drying apparatus includes a housing, a tubular arm, a telescoping arm and a fan. The tubular arm is attached to the housing at a portion between proximal and distal ends. Also, the tubular arm is able to rotate tangential to the housing. The tubular arm includes a proximal end and a distal end and is attached to the housing at a portion between the proximal and distal ends. The telescoping arm is attached to the tubular arm and able to slide between an open and closed position. The telescoping arm includes an aperture that is open in the open position and covered in the closed position. The fan encased within the housing and arranged to direct airflow through the tubular arm and out the aperture when the telescoping arm is in the open position. The air flow is restricted when the telescoping arm is in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 6594647
Abstract: An infrastructure for a real time bank-centric universal payment system (2) in which a central processing system (CPU) defines an electronic commerce trust system (1) formed from a plurality of financial service provider members (4) subscribing to a common standard having applicability throught the infrastructure. The central processing unit is operatively interconnected to the correspondent processing units of financial service provider members (4) that in turn are operatively interconnected through access mechanisms to a network of customers (3) and goods and services providers (5) who are account subscribers with the financial service provider member (4) and subject to the common standard of the system. The CPU provides non-revocable real time debit and credit transactions and effects net settlement between and among members through a central exchange monetary system.

  • Patent number: 5974146
Abstract: An infrastructure for a real time bank-centric universal payment system in which a central processing unit (CPU) defines an electronic commerce trust system formed from a plurality of financial service provider members subscribing to a common standard having applicability throughout the infrastructure. The central processing unit is operatively interconnected to the correspondent processing units of financial service provider members that in turn are operatively interconnected through access mechanisms to a network of customers and goods and services providers who are account subscribers with the financial service provider member and subject to the common standard of the system. The CPU provides non-revocable real time debit and credit transactions and effects provider net settlement between and among members through a central exchange monetary system. Features of the infrastructure include an ECTS hot file, bill presentment and payment options and provider designed services that enhance brand identity.

  • Patent number: 5474357
Abstract: A three-mode seat for a motor vehicle cooperable with an adult seat belt assembly to provide three modes of operation including an adult seat mode, a large child booster seat mode, and a small child mode. The seat includes a child's seat module arranged to be secured to the seat back frame between the space provided between two side cushions. The module includes a rigid back panel which carries a cushion assembly and a child's seat belt assembly.

  • Patent number: 5319757
Abstract: A microprocessor for facilitating use of FORTH computer language includes a top register for storing a first parameter and an Arithmetic logic unit (ALU) connected to the top register for processing the first parameter with other parameters and for storing the results in the top register. An index register stores a second parameter and addresses main memory and pops and pushes the second parameter with respect to a return Last in/first out (LIFO) stack. A next parameter register stores a third parameter and pops andpushes the third parameter with respect to a next parameter LIFO stack. Anh addressing multiplexer is coupled to the index register and the next parameter register. A first swap connection to the top and index registers enables single cycle exchange of the first and second parameters between these two registers. A second swap connection between these registers permits a single cycle exchange of the first parameter and the third parameter between the top and next parameter registers.

  • Patent number: 5070451
Abstract: A language specific microprocessor for the computer language known as FORTH is disclosed. The microprocessor includes four main registers each for holding a parameter; a L or instruction latch register for decoding instructions and activating microprocessor operation; an I or return index register for tracking returns; an N or next parameter register for operation with an arithmetic logic unit (ALU); and a T or top of parameter stack register with an appended ALU. A return stack port is connected to the I register and a parameter stack port is connected to the N register circuit, each have last in/first out (LIFO) memory stacks for reads and writes to isolated independent memory islands that are external to the microprocessor. The respective I, T and N registers are connected in respective series by paired bus connections for swapping parameters between adjacent registers.

  • Patent number: 4779504
Abstract: A device for effecting continuous annular fancy cuts such as serrations around melons and the like comprises an elongated substantially linear base and support member having a trough-like cross section. A flat central portion of the base and support member carries an elongated upstanding generally linear cutter which extends longitudinally atop the member and which is adapted at an upper edge to sever the skin of melons and the like. The shape of the cutter when viewed from above in one embodiment is a conventional saw-tooth and the saw tooth cut or serration is provided continuously around a melon midsection by rolling the same along the length of the cutter. Side portions of the trough-like base and support member are oppositely inclined at approximately thirty degrees (30) to urge the melon toward a linear or straight line revolution along and atop the cutter.
