  • Patent number: 11931608
Abstract: A system for dispensing flame retardant foam on the exterior of a structure. The structure has an opening that enables distribution of flame retardant foam onto the roof. The system includes a foam distribution system having a foam expansion chamber and a roof plenum for delivery through the roof opening. Foam solution and compressed air are combined in a conduit and supplied to the foam expansion chamber. The structure may have at least one wall. In that case, the system may have a wall plenum for delivery of flame retardant foam from the foam expansion chamber through a first wall-associated opening. Each such wall will have an opening associated with the wall that enables distribution of flame retardant foam onto that wall.

  • Patent number: 11928015
Abstract: A fault insertion device (FID) comprises a transceiver and an FPGA. The transceiver receives signals from a MIL-STD-1553/1760 communications bus. The FPGA evaluates the signals received from the communications bus against a set of rules stored by the FPGA. Based upon the set of rules, the FPGA can selectively modify messages received from the communications bus prior to transmission to a remote terminal or a bus controller that is configured to communicate on the communications bus.

  • Patent number: 9932720
Abstract: A shearing implement for use with an excavator has a thumb having a grasping side and a cutting side and being pivotably attachable to the boom. A shearing blade member is pivotably attached to the cutting side of the thumb. A linear actuator has a first end attached to the shearing blade member and a second end attachable to the boom or the thumb so that extension and retraction of the linear actuator causes the shearing blade member to rotate relative to the thumb.

  • Patent number: 6030559
Abstract: A method for continuously manufacturing a plastic foam reinforced by at least one fibrous material comprising continuously conveying a carrier along a production line, supplying on top of the carrier a foam-forming mixture and at least one continuously moving fibrous material, the fibrous material being non-expansible and having holes penetrable by the mixture, the mixture being supplied above both the fibrous material and the carrier or below the fibrous material and between the fibrous material and the carrier, passing the carrier, mixture and fibrous material between two spaced opposed constricting members which lie one above the other and form therebetween a metering gap for distributing the mixture over the carrier and fibrous material, and allowing the mixture after passing through the gap to freely expand and penetrate the holes of the fibrous material to form a reinforced plastic foam which has an exceptionally flat surface.

  • Patent number: 5273092
Abstract: A device for installing tire chains consists of a container for storing the tire chains when not in use and a removable lid which serves as a closure for the container and as an aid for installation. The lid is adapted for supporting the wheel of the vehicle during the chain installation process. The device further includes latch means for removably securing the lid over the open top of the container for the storage of tire chainsOne surface of the lid is provided with a raised platform on which the vehicle wheel rests during the chain installation process. The raised platform extends longitudinally on the upper face of the lid and is provided with a pair of channels which are open at the top and at their ends and which extend normally to the longitudinal axis of the lid for receiving lateral members of the tire chain being installed.
