Abstract: A holder apparatus, preferably for a shower head, which includes an elongate holder bar that is rotatable about its longitudinal axis, a holder element that is keyed to the holder bar for slidable movement along the holder bar, an adjustment mechanism for rotating the holder bar so as to alter a pan position of the holder element, and a locking mechanism for positively and releasably locking the holder bar in place so as to prevent or limit rotation. The adjustment mechanism may have a controller at, or adjacent to, one end of the holder bar that is operable by a user to adjust an angular position of the holder bar. The holder bar may also function as a fixed and secure grab bar when used in conjunction with the locking mechanism.
