Abstract: An electrode of a resistance spot welding apparatus includes a base portion, a tip portion and a tapered portion positioned between and connecting the base portion and the tip portion. A cooling channel is formed internal to the electrode to convey a flow of cooling fluid therethrough. The cooling channel includes at least one channel turn portion where the cooling channel turns 180 degrees between a channel inlet and a channel outlet.

Abstract: Welding electrodes, methods, and vehicles are provided. The welding electrodes include a body that includes a weld face on a distal end of the body configured to contact a workpiece and apply an electrical current thereto. The body has a maximum diameter of 13 millimeters or less. The welding electrode includes an insulative material covering at least a portion of the body, the insulative material configured to mitigate current shunting upon contact between the insulative material and a workpiece of a workpiece stack-up while using the welding electrode to resistance weld the workpiece stack-up.

Abstract: A computer implemented graphical user interface for receiving instructions and information relating to insurance products, and for displaying insurance proposals relating thereto. The graphical user interface has an insured section for receiving personal information about a person to be insured and a product design section for receiving information specifying an insurance product and the insurance products components. The product design section has a design grid which is a matrix enabling input of product information, premium information and dividend information relating to a selected insurance product. The design grid enables a user to select a solve procedure and variable as the subject of the selected solve procedure.

Abstract: A hydrostatic bearing support for a work tool has an inner stationary member with circumferentially disposed hydrostatic bearing areas which when pressurized, radially support an outer constant thickness cylindrical sleeve. Axial bearing support for the outer sleeve is provided by annular hydrostatic thrust bearing areas disposed at each end of the stationary member and cooperating with end caps which are secured to the outer sleeve. All of the liquid passages for directing pressurized liquid to the bearing members are formed within the stationary member.
