Patent number: 11708723Abstract: A method for forming a guide for a top drive unit includes connecting a lower track member to a lower mast section and connecting an upper track member to an upper mast section and telescoped with the lower track section. A slider is slidably positioned about the upper track member so the slider is movable along the upper track member. The slider has a lateral cross-sectional profile substantially the same size and shape as a lateral cross-sectional profile of the lower track member. The skate is slidably positioned about the lower track member to be movable along the lower track member and onto the slider. The skate travels along the upper track member via the slider. The skate is connectable to a top drive unit so the top drive unit is movable along the lower track member and the upper track member.Type: GrantFiled: January 18, 2021Date of Patent: July 25, 2023Assignee: Gordon Bros. Publication number: 20230217167Abstract: The invention is an apparatus used to send sound exterior to the vehicle to a location on the interior of a vehicle which corresponds with the sound’s external location. The apparatus adjusts for gain by frequency and shifts frequencies of the audio signals received exterior to the vehicle to generate a modified audio signal. The adjustments include compensation for hearing loss, compensation for audio in the interior of the vehicle, and attenuation adjustments for unwanted exterior noise. The modified audio signal is generated by filtering unwanted audio from the exterior audio, adjusting for gain by frequency and shifting/compressing frequencies according to hearing deficiencies, and adjusting for gain by frequency according to audio in the interior of the vehicle. The modified audio signal may be limited to a maximum gain and then amplified in the interior of the vehicle.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 5, 2022Publication date: July 6, 2023Inventors: Stuart C. Publication number: 20150252409Abstract: The present invention provides for methods, processes and platforms to validate systems genetics networks to define their genetic regulators and to optimize translational applicability to humans for drug development. These systems genetics networks are sets of genes with a common function that demonstrate covariate expression that is genetically modulated by linked function network regulators (LFNRs) which comprise eQTLs in animals and GWAS SNPs in humans. LFNRs represent a new class of targets to identify drugs to prevent, ameliorate, and/or treat human diseases. LFNRs for the cell cycle-mitosis network have potential to be especially useful for anti-cancer therapies. The present invention provides for a drug that targets a specific LFNR for the cell cycle-mitosis network in Caucasian male liver to prevent the development of hepatocellular carcinoma in high risk patient populations.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 5, 2014Publication date: September 10, 2015Applicant: Varigenix, Inc.Inventors: Robert E.
