  • Publication number: 20210230801
Abstract: A system for feeding lignocellulosic biomass material, comprising a pre-compressing stage for receiving biomass material and pre-compressing the material at a first pressure and a first compression ratio. A plug screw feeder receives the pre-compressed material and feeds the material against a second pressure and a second compression ratio, wherein the plug screw feeder includes a variable speed plug screw arranged in the plug screw feeder connected to a variable speed plug screw power source.

  • Publication number: 20210131032
Abstract: The invention relates to a system and a method for feeding comminuted cellulosic material from a low-pressure zone (PL) to a high-pressure zone (PE) with at least 1 bar higher pressure. The invention uses a screw 7 feeder having a feeding screw (1) arranged in a feeding pipe (2). Back blow pulses from the high-pressure zone that may blow 7 backwards from the high-pressure zone (PE) can be ventilated (VentII) in an intermediate part (Pc) of the feeding pipe (2), and thus not reach the low 7-pressure zone.

  • Patent number: 7286919
Abstract: A method and algorithm for semi-active suspension damper control is described. The algorithm controls the damper setting to limit vehicle body movement in terms of body modal velocities of heave, roll and pitch. The main input, body movement, is measured with accelerometers. The control output comprises a request in percent of damper control range. Vehicle speed-dependent minimum and maximum limits are applied. The method includes monitoring vehicle speed and a modal sensing system. A common damping rate for the dampers is determined based upon parameters for speed, heave, pitch, and roll. Each damper is controlled based upon the common damping rate adjusted based upon a location of each of the controllable suspension dampers. The output comprises a single signal, translated to a front and rear setting. The purpose is to always have a balanced setting of the four dampers.
