In a particular configuration, the air knife is situated adjacent a set of cylinders in the printing device such that upon a sheet or related piece of printed substrate being put in an air flowpath created by the air knife, one or more operations can be performed on the still wet printed or coated sheet to minimize the chance of contact of the wet sheet surface with sheet delivery or related components. Examples of such operations may include turning, bending or folding the sheet, as well as drying the ink or coating placed on the sheet by the printing machinery.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus is described that allow the creation of virtual routing domains in an IP network. These virtual routing domains allow individual networks to be configures so that it appears that its routing domain covers the entire IP address space. A network processing system is used to implement the virtual routing domains and to allow network traffic to cross the individual routing domains. The network processing system is able to use application layer information to allow the crossing of virtual routing domain boundaries. By examining application layer information the network processing system is able to look up customer/user information and use that information to determine destination virtual routing domains and route otherwise unroutable addresses between domains.

    Abstract: A method and device implementing a downloadable operatively connected to a plurality of gaming machines either by a direct communications link or through the use of one or more site controllers or PCs. Each gaming machine and site controller or PC contains two executable spaces, one of which typically contains the software image currently being implemented by the device. The other executable space is designated to receive from the central system a new software image that will be utilized by the device. The central system transfers a new image to be executed, via packet encrypted communications, to a networked device which stores the image in an executable space, while continuing to run the currently designated image. Upon instruction from the central system, the device switches over to the new image, allowing one or more machines to implement a software upgrade on a continuous basis.

    Abstract: A multiple pole sub-feed for a panel board is disclosed. The sub-feed of the present invention includes extension bus bars which connect to the bus bars of the panel board and preferably linearly extend the length of the sub-feed. The sub-feed further includes bus connectors supported generally perpendicular to the extension bus bars and preferably extending the width of the sub-feed. The design allows for a plurality of poles of sub-feed to be accommodated by adding bus connectors to the end of the sub-feed, where each bus connector includes an opening for electrically connecting to one of the extension bus bars. Current passes from the extension bus bars to a metal retainer connecting the bus connector to the extension bus bars, to a current carrying strap in the bus connectors, to a current carrying spool located in a turret on the bus connectors, and then to a circuit breaker positioned above the bus connector about the turret.

Preferably, the degree of bias may be selectively controlled. In use, the user is able to rapidly stretch and strengthen the muscles of both right and left legs by merely twisting about the device by approximately 180°. The device further preferably includes a handle member to provide support during use of the device, and may be further adapted to enable the user to perform rowing, curl, and abdominal-strengthening type exercises.
