    Abstract: The present invention relates to a bending assembly for bending a workpiece. The assembly includes a bending apparatus configured to bend the workpiece and form a curved portion of the workpiece. The curved portion of the workpiece has a longitudinal periphery and a curvature. The assembly includes a camera configured to produce an image of the longitudinal periphery of the curved portion of the workpiece. The assembly includes a processor configured to receive the image of the longitudinal periphery of the curved portion of the workpiece. The processor is configured to identify a plurality of measuring points spaced-apart along the longitudinal periphery of the curved portion of the workpiece. The processor is configured to determine the curvature of the curved portion of the workpiece based on the measuring points.
