Abstract: The invention comprises an electronic auction method and system which determines a first number of bids that must be received, the receipt of which will end a reserve period of a first electronic auction and determines at least one additional number of bids that must be received, the receipt of which will end at least one additional electronic auction. The method and system simultaneously displays the first electronic auction and the at least one additional electronic auction, wherein the end point of the at least one additional electronic auction is displayed within the display of the first electronic auction. The system and method ends each additional electronic auction upon receipt of the predetermined number of bids for that auction and ends the first electronic auction after all additional electronic auctions displayed within the first electronic auction have ended.

The secondary game may be triggered based on play on the plurality of networked terminals. This allows the player to play a first game that earns them eligibility to win another game that is played in the background. The player sends a game initiation request for a game (e.g., lottery slot) to be played on the game terminal. If a certain criterion is satisfied, the player becomes eligible to win a prize from the secondary game if the secondary game is triggered while the player is eligible to win.

The user's account balance is decreased, and simulated reels are spun. Adjustment arrows are displayed for a subset of the plurality of simulated reels. The player selects a simulated reel and a direction of adjustment for the simulated reel. If the player's adjustment creates a winning pattern, the user is rewarded with an increased account balance. The user may also be provided a bonus amount for achieving a number of consecutive wins.
