  • Publication number: 20180066318
Abstract: The invention provides methods of identifying an E-SYT2 modulator. The methods may comprise providing a cell that expresses E-SYT2; contacting the cell with a candidate chemical entity; and characterizing recruitment of at least one of Carma1, BcllO, NEMO, and PKC9 to the immunological synapse (IS). The invention also provides E-SYT2 modulators, including inhibitors, identified using the disclosed methods. The invention provides methods of inhibiting NF-?B activity in a cell comprising contacting the cell with an E-SYT2 inhibitor. The invention provides methods comprising providing a sample from a patient suspected of having or at risk of having a MALT-lymphoma or an ABC-DLBCL-lymphoma; and screening the sample to identify the presence and/or absence of a gain of function E-Syt2 mutation in the sample. The invention also provides genetically modified mammals comprising one or two loss of function alleles of E-Syt2.

  • Publication number: 20170274505
Abstract: A cable grasping tool for grasping brake and derailleur cables includes a pair of handles that is rigid. The handles are pivotally coupled and arcuate, such that the handles are opposing. Each of a pair of jaws is coupled to and extends from a first end of a respective handle. Each of a plurality of grasps is coupled to an inner edge of a respective jaw. The grasps are configured to selectively couple a brake cable and a derailleur cable of a velocipede. The handles are positionable with the jaws in an open configuration, such that a cable is insertable between the jaws. The handles are configured for inward pivoting by action of a user's hand, such that the plurality of grasps engage the cable and facilitate manipulation of the cable by the user.

  • Publication number: 20070025583
Abstract: The invention described herein is an externally mounted speaker grill with special features for dispersing full range sound at broad angles. The basic form of the invention consists of a speaker grill for protecting a speaker from the elements, a rounded cone shaped feature for dispersing high-frequency sound waves at broad angles, a series of spoke features for supporting the cone feature while allowing full range sound waves to pass largely unhindered, and mounting holes for screws to affix the speaker grill to the front of a speaker mounting board in front of a speaker.

  • Patent number: 4520707
Abstract: A system for automatically generating an accompaniment note pattern and a bass pattern programmed therein by the player. The system includes a programmable microprocessor wherein two patterns, one sounding in the frequency range of the solo and accompaniment manuals and the other in the frequency range of the pedals, can be programmed into a programmable and reprogrammable memory by the player by means of a separate keypad or one or two octaves of keys on the regular keyboards. The patterns are programmed in without regard to key, and on playback, the microprocessor is responsive to the chord being played at that time on the accompaniment manual to transpose the read out patterns to a compatible key. Means are provided for phase locking simultaneously occurring notes of the two patterns if they are of the same or octavely related frequencies. This is accomplished by causing both notes to be taken off the same divider string if a match of pitch occurs.

  • Patent number: 4403536
Abstract: An electronic keyboard musical instrument comprising a multiplexed keyboard and a programmable microcomputer interfaced between the keyboard and a system of capture tone generators. The loading circuitry for the microcomputer, which is interposed between it and the keyboard multiplexer output, monitors the serial data stream and transmits only key change information to the microcomputer. If a keydown signal appears in a time slot where that time slot was previously empty, a multiple bit binary word identifying that time slot and indicating that it is a keydown condition is transmitted to the microcomputer. Similarly, if a keydown pulse disappears from a time slot when a pulse was previously present, a similar code is transmitted to the microcomputer indicating that the key is no longer depressed. The microcomputer controls the assignment and deassignment of tone generators for the accompaniment, solo and pedal manuals based on the key change information transmitted to it.
