    Abstract: The magnetized drill bit extension provides a socket that accepts bits of various diameters and indicates its location when concealed, as within a wall. The invention has a socket at the end of a drill bit extension with a strong magnet integrated into the socket. The socket accepts round, square, and square corner rounded shanks of bits. The magnet within the socket endures drilling through wood. The socket emanates a magnetic field from within a concealed location that deflects a compass, thus revealing the location of the extension within a wall. Alternatively, a magnet is joined to the spade of a drill bit to reveal its location when concealed.

    Abstract: The three-way valve allows fluid flow to be selectively directed to a run outlet, a bypass outlet or both at the same time. The three-way valve includes a flow diffuser with a primary valve seat positioned opposite a bypass valve seat. Choke points and flow restrictions, strategically positioned in the flow diffuser create a substantially flat velocity profile downstream of the bypass outlet. Larger versions of this three-way valve may be used in Vertical Takeoff and Landing (“VTOL”) aircraft. Other versions may be used in ships and other watercraft.

    Abstract: A tensioning system for a cleaning blade for a conveying belt. The tensioning system has a frame, a blade support, and a ratchet system. The blade support is movable around a first axis in a first direction to increase cleaning blade pressure and a second direction oppositely to the first direction to decrease cleaning blade pressure. Through the ratchet system, a position of the blade support can be maintained against pivoting in the second direction. The ratchet system has (a) a first ratchet assembly on one of the frame and blade support with at least one ratchet surface facing in a first circumferential direction relative to the first axis and (b) a second ratchet assembly on the other of the frame and blade support and having a first plurality of ratchet surfaces facing in a second circumferential direction oppositely to the first circumferential direction.

    Abstract: A conveyor system having a conveying belt trained around a plurality of guide rollers for movement in an endless travel path to convey articles and materials in a travel line. A first roller is mounted in an operative position on a support to bear against the conveying belt. A roller safety support system has a wall assembly that confines downward movement of the first roller in the event that the first roller becomes disengaged from the operative position. The roller safety support system further includes a frame assembly. The wall assembly is mounted to the frame assembly so that an upwardly facing surface on the wall assembly bears supportingly against the first roller in the event that the first roller becomes disengaged from the operative position. The upwardly facing surface bounds a receptacle in which the first roller is confined by the wall assembly in the event that the first roller disengages from the operative position. The receptacle has a variable configuration.
