  • Patent number: 10047736
Abstract: A metering pump enables simple fluid metering, has an extended service life, and is of compact construction. The metering pump includes a piston rod in operative connection with a control body which has a circumferential sealing zone, in that the internal circumference of the sealing cylinder radially surrounds the sealing zone. On the piston rod side, a compensating zone, which is at a greater radial distance from the sealing cylinder than the sealing zone, adjoins the sealing zone at least in portions, and in that the control body, after passing beyond the control edge in the actuation direction of the actuator, at least largely severs the fluid connection.

  • Patent number: 9394890
Abstract: A reciprocating-piston pump with plain bearing traversed by flow. The reciprocating-piston pump is driven by an electromagnet to have a bearing of the piston in a cylinder, which bearing is protected against local overheating and from which bearing decomposition and reaction products and any wear products generated are discharged. For this purpose, elongate helical depressions are provided in one of two bearing surfaces in a bearing gap between the piston and the cylinder, which depressions are traversed entirely or partially by a flow of the liquid which is delivered by the piston acting in interaction with other components of the reciprocating-piston pump for the delivery rate of the reciprocating-piston pump. Reciprocating-piston pumps of the described type can be used as dosing pumps and as delivery pumps in fuel-operated standstill heaters, auxiliary heaters and exhaust-gas purification systems in vehicles.

  • Publication number: 20150104338
Abstract: The invention relates to an electromagnetic pump comprising precisely one coil, wherein the one coil has a longitudinal axis, a ferromagnetic first core section at least partially arranged in the one coil, a ferromagnetic second core section at least partially arranged in the one coil, and a ferromagnetic armature, wherein a primary air gap is arranged between the armature and the first core section, wherein a radial secondary air gap is arranged between an insertion section of the armature and a receiving section of the second core section facing the longitudinal axis, wherein the ferromagnetic armature has a truncated cone-shaped contour narrowing in the stroke direction in a front section facing the first core section, wherein a magnetic force between the armature and the first core section is greater in a closing process of the first air gap; than a magnetic force between the armature and the second core section.
