  • Patent number: 11623058
Abstract: A lower jaw thrusting (LJT) mandibular protracting oral airway device including an elongate member with a distal end and a proximal end defining an air passageway channel. The elongate member includes a lip flange, a curved main body, and a bite block. The lip flange is located at the proximal end and has an outwardly projecting surface. The curved main body extends to the distal end. The bite block is disposed between the lip flange and the curved main body. The bite block includes an upper dorsal surface having a first bite portion for maxillary incisor teeth engagement and a lower ventral surface having a second bite portion for mandibular incisor teeth engagement. The bite block includes a mandibular flange projecting downwards from the lower ventral surface located distal to the second bite portion for mandibular incisor teeth engagement and proximal to the first bite portion for maxillary incisor engagement.

  • Publication number: 20230081106
Abstract: A safe; effective squatting toilet seat has multiple embodiments to simulate the natural mode of bowel and urine evacuation in the squatting position practiced for centuries before modern sitting toilet was introduced. This inventive design bends the thigh at hip, which pushes back the pubic bone and tilts the pelvis forwards that bends the torso resulting in relaxation of the puborectalis and pubourethralis muscle noose at anorectal junction while straightening the rectum to come in alignment with the anus for fast easy and fast bowl evacuation. This invention also provides a separate insertable squatting toilet seat placed on the top of the existing toilet seat on the toilet bowl. It is provided with urinal embodiment to prevent urine spilling and to induce easy flow of urine in females due to relaxation of pubo-rectalis-urethralis muscle. Embodiments include toilet bowl sterilization by germicidal visible violet-blue spectrum light, toilet deodorizer, and seat warmer.

  • Publication number: 20230047074
Abstract: A container for storing and dispensing a liquid and a gas to a user has a portable liquid container; a dual-purpose lid cover hingedly connected to the portable liquid container; a liquid dispensing cap attached to an upper portion of the portable liquid container; a nose cavity portion disposed on the dual-purpose lid cover to facilitate delivery of a gas; wherein said dual-purpose cap pivots from a secure liquid cap orientation to a gas delivery orientation. Also included is a a gas canister disposed on the portable liquid container. A valve assembly is disposed between the dual-purpose lid cover and the gas container wherein the gas is selectively dispensed and regulated through the dual-purpose lid cover when placed in the gas delivery orientation. Also provided is an attachment means for removably connecting said gas canister to said side of said portable liquid container.

  • Publication number: 20220023565
Abstract: A lower jaw and tongue thrusting endotracheal tube and flexible fiberoptic endoscope intubation oral airway device having an elongated body including, a mandible flange with a lingual flat portion transversely disposed on a ventral surface of a tongue plate. The device having an open top toward the palate like a rectangular trough. The trough extends through the device from the proximal end to the front middle part of the tongue plate. The device includes an L-shaped insert that slideably couples between the upper lip flanges and acts also as dorsal surface of the bite block. The distal end of the tongue plate end comprises a curved surface which tapers to a narrow distal edge. A pair of upstanding walls attach to the tongue faceplate ventral surface edges which taper as they extend posteriorly. The walls ensure protection for medical instruments disposed within the flexible fiberoptic endoscope guide.

  • Publication number: 20080257340
Abstract: An adapter for use over a canister of compressed gas having an actuating valve stem is provided. The adapter redirects gas flow from the valve stem to a cavity from which the gas may be inhaled. The design of the adapter is such that the gas from the canister is transferred to the nose of a user while minimizing the amount of gas that escapes into the atmosphere prior to inhalation.
