  • Patent number: 9399750
Abstract: Provided is a method for recovering oil from corn to ethanol production, the method comprising applying a formulation comprising (i) a compound of formula (I), in which R1-R3 are defined herein, (ii) an oil and/or at least one propylene glycol ester of fat and/or a fatty acid, and (iii) a metal oxide to a corn-based product from an ethanol production process. Also provided is a formulation effective for corn oil recovery comprising (i) a mixture of ethoxylated C14-22 mono- and diglycerides, (ii) an oil and/or at least one propylene glycol ester of fat and/or a fatty acid, and (iii) a metal oxide.

  • Patent number: 9306733
Abstract: A method of synchronizing a time division duplex (TDD) multi-line, multi-carrier data communication system is provided. Synchronization is established using unique pseudo-random bit sequences (PRBS) from a common generator polynomial having different seed values. Due to low correlation of PRBS generated with different seed values, a remote unit can only synchronize to its intended signal effectively mitigating far-end and near-end crosstalk impact of large bandwidth very high speed digital subscriber lines (VDSL).
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: April 5, 2016
    Assignee: BROADCOM CORPORATION

  • Patent number: 6711417
Abstract: An interface between a public switched telephone network (PSTN), a wireless communication network having a plurality of cells and a plurality of mobile switching centers (MSCs), and a wireless device. The interface includes a broadband telecommunications network. It also includes an integrated services hub (ISH). The ISH is communicatively coupled to the wireless device and the broadband network. The ISH receives RF communications from the wireless device and converts the RF communications into control and data signals usable by said broadband network. The ISH has an antenna with a first coverage area extending over a pico cell. The interface also comprises a service manager communicatively coupled to the broadband network, to the wireless network, and to the PSTN. The service manager receives the control and data signals from the ISH via the broadband network and forms and provides signaling communications in response to receiving the control and data signals.
