  • Publication number: 20240072621
Abstract: A method of making an electromagnetic coil for use in a high-temperature electromagnetic machine includes pre-coating magnet wire with a high-temperature insulation precursor to produce pre-coated magnet wire, winding, while applying in-situ a glass-ceramic slurry, the pre-coated magnet wire into a predetermined coil shape to produce a wet-wound green coil, and thermally processing the wet-wound green coil to produce a processed coil. In some instances, a second layer of a high-temperature insulation may be applied to the processed coil to produce a further insulated processed coil, and then thermally processing the further insulated processed coil to produce a further processed electromagnetic coil.

  • Publication number: 20100158457
Abstract: A fiber optic cable is described. The fiber optic cable includes optical fibers, a matrix substantially encasing the optical fibers, a tape substantially around the matrix, a tube substantially around the tape, a strength member around the tube, and a jacket substantially on an outer periphery of the fiber optic cable.

  • Publication number: 20070038889
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and articles of manufacture to access process control log information associated with process control systems involve obtaining the process control log information from a database based on a plurality of logging time periods and at least one data query. The process control log information is then categorized based on at least one of a plurality of categories. A plurality of output files are then generated based on the plurality of logging time periods and the categorized process control log information. A portion of the process control log information is then retrieved from one of the plurality of output files based on one of the plurality of logging time periods and the portion of the process control log information is output.

  • Patent number: 6717058
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a multi-conductor cable with a twisted pair section and a parallel section, wrapped in a transparent plastic jacket to form a generally uniform round-shaped cable. The transparent jacket allows the flat section to be identified so that the jacket may be removed at this location and the conductors in the flat section prepared for attachment to a connector for either point to point or daisy chain cables. Additionally, the individual conductors in the flat section of the cable are each attached to a support member that maintains the spacing of the conductors so that it may be quickly attached to the contact terminals of a connector.

  • Patent number: 4674689
Abstract: A milling machine particularly a disc mill for processing cereal seeds and cereal derivatives including a top disc through a central opening in which the material may be fed, and a bottom disc spaced from the top disc, both discs having mutually opposed profiled surfaces and the distance between the discs and the offset of the axes being adjustable to obtain optimum milling of the materials.
