Abstract: A method for increasing the effectiveness of a mobile platform's data communications link includes the steps of: (a) attaching high gain antennas to the platform, (b) providing it with the following: a processor with memory and software, an antenna switching mechanism, an inertial measurement unit, and a GNSS receiver, and wherein the software is configured to: (c) assist in performing antenna switching so that the antennas yield a “pseudo isotropic” energy radiation pattern, (d) classify and prioritize data for transmission based on the nature and criticality of the data, (e) queue the data, based on its classification, during a communication link loss for retransmission when the link is reestablished, and (f) monitor the link to determine its statistical characteristics, and repacketize the data, based on the link's statistical characteristics, to enhance the link's efficiency.

Abstract: A repeatedly refillable and reusable container is provided. The repeatedly refillable and reusable container includes a dispenser body. The dispenser body has a formed end with sides protruding therefrom, forming a receptacle accessible via an aperture. The receptacle of the dispenser body is designed to conjoin with a material refill unit by removing an enclosure apparatus and allowing the material refill unit to couple to, refill, and dispense the material of the material refill unit. When the material of the conforming material refill unit coupled with the dispenser body is dispensed, and the material refill unit is removed, a replacement material refill unit may be coupled to the dispenser body. Whereby the coupling of the material refill unit to the dispenser body refills the dispenser rendering the dispenser body reusable by the removal of the exhausted material refill unit.

Abstract: A solution refill cartridge device configured to be joined to a dispenser includes a housing having a formed side with perimeter sidewalls creating an open end that provides access to an interior volume that receives a solution. The solution conforms to the interior volume and a dispenser, whereby the solution cartridge refill device's open side is configured with an enclosure apparatus that seals the solution within the solution cartridge refill device. The enclosure apparatus is removable so to access the solution within the solution refill cartridge device. Removal of the enclosure apparatus allows the formed solution to be dispensed through the open side of the solution refill cartridge device. The solution refill cartridge device aligns and mates to a dispenser to allow the formed solution to be dispensed with, on or in the dispenser.

Abstract: A coupling seal of a container is provided. The coupling seal of a container includes a container with an interior reservoir. The interior reservoir is accessible via a rim about an aperture. The rim includes a number of protrusions. The protrusions are placed about the circumference of the rim so that a containment apparatus can mate with the rim. The containment apparatus includes a surface with a peripheral flange protruding therefrom. A number of arises are provided on the peripheral flange and are designed to mate with the protrusions of the rim. Rotation of the containment apparatus upon the rim causes the arises of the containment apparatus to mate with the protrusions of the rim, causing the container to seal.

Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing a substance that includes a housing having a layered bonded material layered bonded material spirally wound around a form. The form and the layered bonded material forms an internal cavity as the layered bonded material solidifies around the form. The housing includes a first end molded inward partially enclosing the first end of the housing, creating a flange perpendicular to adjacent interior sidewalls of the housing. A moveable insert is deposited within the internal cavity against the flange to cause a seal of the internal cavity on the first end of the housing. The housing includes a second end having a mating enclosure device to enclose a substance within the internal cavity of the housing, which is dispensed upon removal of the mating enclosure device. In one alternate embodiment, a cellulose based material is applied with the bonding agent as the bonding agent cures.

Abstract: A home phototherapy system for producing vitamin D via skin exposure and associated methods are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the system includes a UV-emitting device that includes a housing and a UV light assembly carried by the housing. The UV light assembly can include an array of UVB light emitters and an optical component that, together, emit phototherapeutic UV radiation from an active side of the housing to promote vitamin D production in skin (e.g., a human torso) exposed to the UVB light. The system also includes a dose controller operably coupled to the UV light assembly that can create a dosing protocol for the UV light assembly and specific to the user. The dose controller can be implemented on an application in a mobile device, within the UV-emitting device, and/or a cloud server.

Abstract: A repeatedly refillable reusable dispenser, which may be a roll-on dispenser, includes a housing having an interior volume within which is exposed via uncoupling an upper section from the lower section. The upper section comprises a means of uncoupling from the lower section, exposing the interior volume. The interior volume includes a means to dispose a refill solution within a cartridge incorporating a solvent within. Coupling of the upper section to the lower section seals the mix of refill solution within the interior volume. The upper section includes a means of engaging the refill solution within the interior volume, dispensing the refill solution through an applicator apparatus exposed externally through the upper section of the housing, allowing refill solution to transfer through the applicator as the material is in contact from within the interior volume, dispensing the solution through the applicator, thereby rendering the dispenser housing reusable repeatedly by refilling.

The actuator is movably connected to an air chamber and a solution chamber. The solution chamber is in fluid communication with the solution reservoir and a discharge nozzle. The air chamber is fluidly connected to the discharge nozzle. The actuator is coupled to a mixing shaft that protrudes into the lower section. The lower section comprises an interior volume that functions as a solution reservoir. A solution cartridge and water are inserted into the solution reservoir. A solution mixer is rotatably coupled to the mixing shaft combining the solution within the solution cartridge, the solution cartridge, and the water into one solution. Upon an activation of the actuator, the solution and the air will mix and exit the discharge nozzle.
