Abstract: A system and method for monitoring calls or other communications between two parties by a monitoring service. The system may be configured to determine whether the caller is a known or unknown caller. In the event that the system determines that the caller is an unknown caller (i.e., not in either of a “good” caller or “bad” caller database), then the system may process dialog between the two parties to determine whether a potential fraud is being committed. The processing may be performed using artificial intelligence (AI) in real-time. In response to determining that a potential fraud is being committed, the call may be interdicted by automatically adding a third party, such as a security agent, to the call. The system may be configured to selectively play a pre-call message to a non-subscriber of the monitoring service to notify the non-subscriber that the call is being monitored.

Responsive to each viewer confirmation signal that includes an indication of a television channel of multiple television channels being viewed and time at which the visual verification signal was sensed, a data repository may be updated. Viewership of the television channels used during a timeslot may be calculated and reported.

Abstract: A system and method for tracking a shopping cart in a retail store may include communicating signals into the pathways from multiple locations, where the signals may include identifiers indicative of location of respective signals. The communicated signals with the identifiers may be received, and the identifiers may be recorded. The recorded data may be processed to determine a path taken by the shopping cart through the retail store. The path of the shopping cart taken through the retail store may be presented to a user.

A coupling member is operable to engage the elongated member or power bus and support the device. The Gametenna includes an antenna for receiving and transmitting wireless signals, and a memory device which is physically coupled to the antenna. The wireless telephone includes a transceiver, a first external interface electrically coupled to the transceiver, a processor and a second external interface electrically coupled to the processor. The Gametenna expands the capabilities of the wireless telephone when connected to the first and second external interfaces. The transceiver receives and transmits wireless signals via the first external interface and the antenna. The processor accesses data stored in the memory device via the second external interface. The data may include instructions for playing a game. The Gametenna may be exchanged with another Gametenna to play a different game. The data may be used to activate software in the wireless telephone.

In partitioning the airtime, the service provider and business establishments that utilize the electronic display equipment of the service provider and/or media network may share in the revenue from booking and/or displaying content on the electronic displays. National level advertising enables content to be displayed at multiple, non-related business establishments (e.g., different grocery store food chains across the country). Local level advertising enables content to be displayed at individual business establishments (e.g., a single grocery store chain).

Abstract: A system and method for displaying content at a business establishment. The system includes a local network in communication with a content delivery system. The local network includes an electronic device, a communication channel, and one or more electronic displays located in relation to one or more products being sold by the business establishment. The electronic device is operable to distribute content derived from existing footage received from the content delivery system in accordance with a playlist identifying the content to be displayed at the business establishment.
