Patent number: 11954197Abstract: A user may conduct a plurality of access requests with a plurality of resource provider computers. A processor server computer may determine whether resource provider computers store access data associated with the user in various ways, including detecting patterns in sets of a plurality of access requests conducted between the user and each of the plurality of resource provider computers. Upon detecting that access data has changed, the processor server computer may automatically send the updated access data to each of the identified resource provider computer.Type: GrantFiled: May 1, 2023Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: Visa International Service AssociationInventors: Meredith Altenhofen, Amy Alterman, Robert Yost

Patent number: 10395284Abstract: Described herein is a platform and method for providing a device valuation for an electronic device based on parameter values of the electronic device. The method may comprise obtaining a model information of the electronic device and identifying a base value of the electronic device. In some embodiments, a device specific performance evaluation may be executed on a hardware component contained with the electronic device. Upon execution of the performance evaluation, a set of parameter values may be generated using input collected with respect to the performance evaluation. A valuation of the electronic device may subsequently be generated based upon the base value and the set of parameter values.Type: GrantFiled: February 20, 2018Date of Patent: August 27, 2019Assignee: Visa International Service AssociationInventors: Robert Yost, Yaasha Sabba

Patent number: 5678412Abstract: The present invention includes a method for changing lubricant types in closed cooling systems such as refrigeration, air-conditioning machinery, and the like. The present invention is also applicable to heat pumps. The method of the present invention may be used on such systems that comprise one or more compressors, one or more evaporators, and one or more condensers. The method of the present invention allows the original compressor lubricant to be drained and replaced with a new lubricant; typically a lubricant of a different type than the original lubricant. Through use of the method of the present invention, all accessible points in the system (i.e., the compressor, the high side oil separator, if so equipped, and the accumulator, if so equipped, etc.) may be drained of the original lubricant and recharged with a new lubricant. After this is done, the original lubricant may still remain in the evaporator, condenser, and/or associated fluid lines.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 1996Date of Patent: October 21, 1997Assignee: Integral Sciences IncorporatedInventors: John J. Byrne, Michael E. Shows, Robert Yost
