  • Patent number: 11783099
Abstract: According to some embodiments, a surrogate model creation computer system includes a user interface to interact with a subject matter expert to create a scripted physics-based model workflow associated with an industrial asset. The surrogate model creation computer system further includes a surrogate model creation engine to automatically execute the scripted physics-based model workflow, in connection with a physics-based model of the industrial asset, to generate at least one response surface of the physics-based model workflow. The surrogate model creation engine may then use the response surface and a machine learning process to automatically create a surrogate model of the industrial asset. It may then be arranged to output the surrogate model for use by a substantially real-time analytics package associated with the industrial asset. According to some embodiments, scripting for a physics-based model workflow may also be automatically created.

  • Patent number: 10811815
Abstract: A plug for an electrical connector arrangement may include a plug contact arranged in a socket on one side and in a plug housing on the other side. The plug housing may be cup-shaped and include a base with a region that projects downward as a connecting part. In the region of the connecting part, a cut-out may pass through the base via which the plug contact is guidable. The plug contact may be positioned in the socket with a recess. The plug contact may be connected to the socket in the recess, and the connecting part of the plug housing may be adhesively bonded in the recess of the socket such that the plug contact is sealed against dirt and moisture in the region of the cut-out relative to the plug housing.

  • Patent number: 9114990
Abstract: A device for the production of silicon blocks comprises a vessel for receiving a silicon melt, the vessel comprising a vessel wall comprising at least one side wall and a bottom as well as an inside and an outside and a central longitudinal axis, and means for creating a temperature field on the inside of the bottom, the temperature field having a temperature gradient at the bottom of the vessel which is perpendicular to the central longitudinal axis at least in some regions when the silicon melt cools down for crystallization.

  • Publication number: 20100260591
Abstract: Accordingly, in one aspect, the invention relates to a variable guide vane for an axial flow compressor comprising: a first radially outer vane section; and a second radially inner vane section; the first and second vane sections angularly adjustable relative to each other about a longitudinal radial axis of the vane.

  • Publication number: 20060198726
Abstract: Vibration induced compressor vane failure from tip leakage vortex bursting is eliminated or minimized. By securing the vane at opposite ends to inner and outer stationary casings, tip leakage is entirely avoided hence avoiding the mechanism for inducing vibration. By contouring the inner surface of the flow path to converge the flow in a downstream direction with a cantilevered compressor vane having a vane tip spaced from the inner casing surface, airflow lift off is precluded or minimized maintaining the flow attached to the flowpath surfaces with consequent avoidance of tip vortex induced vibration.
