Abstract: A method of classifying a foot into a specific foot type selected from a group of twenty-four foot types. The method includes visualizing the foot, in a standing position, or in a walking or running motion, and assessing a plurality of characteristics of the foot. Classification of the foot is based on the aforementioned visualization of the foot and the assessment of the characteristics exhibited by the foot.
