Abstract: Aspects of subject technology provide systems and methods for generation and distribution of a stable identifier associated with multiple aliases of a user account. The stable identifier may be provided to various electronic devices by a server, responsive to requests associated with communications to those devices from one of the associated aliases. In this way, messaging applications can utilize the stable identifier to merge conversations from a single user having multiple aliases, and secure access to a secure device can be provided to an authorized user, even if the authorized user attempts access from an unauthorized account alias.

Abstract: At an electronic device with a touch-sensitive display, display a message transcript, where the message transcript includes at least one message from at least a first user. Determine, based at least in-part on the at least one message, a plurality of suggested one or more characters. Display, on the touch-sensitive display, the plurality of suggested one or more characters. Detect an input on the touch-sensitive display. Determine whether the input represents user selection of one of the plurality of suggested one or more characters. Display the selected one of the plurality of suggested one or more characters in the message transcript. Send the selected one or more characters to the first user.

Abstract: A service for providing messaging extension apps can be an online store that can be browsed and searched for the apps. The store uses extension app identifiers which are related to app identifiers that are sent between devices in a conversation of messages so that a receiving device can, when it does not have the extension app installed to interact with received content, use the extension app identifier to download and install the required extension app. In one embodiment, the download and install can occur while the messaging app remains the foreground app, and the messaging app adds an icon of the newly installed extension app into a browsable tray in the UI of the messaging app.

The search user interface includes a search field and categorized content items. The categorized content items include a content item stored on the device and a content item from the Internet. While displaying the search interface, the device detects selection of a first item in the categorized content items; and, afterwards, displays the first item in the conversation. The device transmits the first item to the device that corresponds to the other user in the messaging session. The other user's device displays the item in a conversation that corresponds to the messaging session.

The device displays a message region for displaying a message conversation and receives a request to add media to the message conversation. Responsive to receiving the request, the device displays a media selection interface concurrently with at least a portion of the message conversation. The media selection interface includes a plurality of affordances for selecting media for addition to the message conversation, the plurality of affordances includes a live preview affordance, at least a subset of the plurality of affordances includes thumbnail representations of media available for adding to the message conversation, and the live preview affordance is associated with a live camera preview. Responsive to detecting selection of the live preview affordance, the device captures a new image based on the live camera preview and selects the new image for addition to the message conversation.

In an example, a method includes obtaining, by a first electronic device associated with a first user, status indicators, each of which indicates a respective status of a second user of a second electronic device. Furthermore, the method includes determining, by the first electronic device, a respective relevance priority of each of the status indicators. Based on the determined respective priorities, a subset of the status indicators is selected by the first electronic device and is displayed in a graphical element on the first electronic device.

Abstract: Compositions and methods for the treatment of allergic disease include treating a subject in need thereof with a dosage of an allergen, wherein the allergen is administered to the subject's oral vestibular space. Abstract: An accessory hub joins accessories such as towel bars and robe hooks to a wall. In order to attach the accessory to the wall, a collet is fastened to the wall. The accessory hub may be joined to the collet with a spring-loaded button extending from the collet that is inserted into a receiver in the accessory hub. A first cleat portion on the collet mates with a second cleat portion on the accessory hub further securing the accessory hub to the collet. The accessory may then be attached to the accessory hub. The accessory hub may be detached from the collet without damaging the wall by depressing the button into the collet and disengaging the first and second cleat portions.

Abstract: A messaging system uses a cloud storage backup system for messages and a temporary storage for messages that are not deliverable to offline devices at the time that the messages are sent by one or more messaging servers. The messages are backed up through a synchronization process that transfers a batch of a plurality of messages rather than a single message or an entire database of messages. A conversation state can be synchronized first before synchronizing messages through the transfer of one or more batches of messages.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for initiating a video conference using a first mobile device. The method presents, during an audio call through a wireless communication network with a second device, a selectable user-interface (UI) item on the first mobile device for switching from the audio call to the video conference. The method receives a selection of the selectable UI item. The method initiates the video conference without terminating the audio call. The method terminates the audio call before allowing the first and second devices to present audio and video data exchanged through the video conference.

Abstract: The subject disclosure provides systems and methods for sender verification for encrypted electronic messaging. The discloses systems and methods may facilitate reducing or preventing spam messages between electronic devices. An electronic device may determine, prior to sending an electronic message to another device with a first level of encryption that is higher than a second level of encryption, whether the electronic device is eligible to send the message with the first level of encryption. If an electronic device determines that it is ineligible to send the message with the first level of encryption to another electronic device, a first message from the electronic device to the other electronic device may be sent with the second level of encryption as part of an unencrypted or low encryption handshake between the devices.
