  • Patent number: 9768994
Abstract: A method for generating a variable-band modulated signal (x) where the modulating digital signal (X) of the modulated signal (x) includes at least one component (C, S, P); the digital information (r) about the variable band is repeatedly or periodically superimposed on the at least one component (C, S, P) or on the modulating signal (X). While processing the received modulated signal (x?), the modulated digital signal (X?) is extracted, the superimposed digital information (r) is obtained, and the extracted digital information (r) is used to determine the band of the modulated signal (x?) and to complete the demodulation and decoding of the modulated signal (x?).

  • Patent number: 9613535
Abstract: A method for allowing missions of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), in particular in non-segregated air space, includes the steps of: prearranging a flight plan by an operator of an unmanned aerial vehicle; verifying, by a management and control body, that the flight plan is compatible with other flight plans of other aerial vehicles, and, if necessary, modifying the flight plan so as to prevent any collisions with the other aerial vehicles, wherein the following steps are carried out: encrypting the flight plan, by the management and control body, with a private key of the management and control body, so as to obtain an encrypted flight plan; encoding the encrypted flight plan with a public key of the unmanned aerial vehicle for which the flight plan is intended, so as to obtain an encrypted and encoded flight plan.

  • Patent number: 8964119
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are provided for transmitting and receiving multimedia contents that include at least two components (C1, C2). The reception method entails the reception of a first component (C1) from a first transmission medium (DVB) and the reception of a second component (C2) from a second transmission medium (IP), as well as the steps of: detecting (A4) a first “watermark” sequence from the first component (C1), detecting (A4) a second “watermark” sequence from the second component (C2), synchronizing (A5) the first and second components (C1, C2) on the basis of the first and second “watermark” sequences, and combining (A6) the synchronized first and second components (C1, C2) to form the multimedia content (MM); of course, the reception method provides the desired results if both components have been suitably and repeatedly marked prior to transmission.

  • Patent number: 8542868
Abstract: A method for referencing and interconnecting contents, applications and metadata to an audiovisual content is described, especially for iTV of for distribution on DVD, which comprises the step of inserting a digital watermark into the audiovisual content during an audiovisual content encoding step, the digital watermark being possibly used for allowing a user to reproduce or exploit additional contents supplementing those provided by the audiovisual content, wherein the digital watermark is inserted into the audiovisual content as data frame with header and body by subdividing it into a plurality of consecutive ‘I’ frames and forcing the parity of LSBs of mid-frequency providing an auxiliary watermark channel, e.g. in an MPEG2 transport stream.

  • Patent number: 8386770
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for allowing a user to access the Internet. A user sends an Internet access request through a first Organization's gateway and supplies to the latter some credentials for his/her authentication with a second Organization. The credentials provided contain at least one piece of information about the second Organization. The first Organization contacts the second Organization for the purpose of authenticating the user and granting him/her access to the Internet. The second Organization then gives the user the authorization to access the Internet. According to the invention, upon the access request the gateway redirects the user to a web page of the second Organization, where the user supplies to the second Organization, through the web page, further authentication credentials required for his/her identification.

  • Patent number: 7472078
Abstract: A system for distributing files containing digital data, by using a telematic network, allows the remote booking of a plurality of files, through a personal computer (12) or a cellular phone (10), the choice of a support (16) onto which said files are to be recorded, and the subsequent collection of the support at a chosen point of sale (8). Moreover, the system guarantees the quality, the origin, the safeguard of the copyrights related with the files recorded onto the support and delivered to the client, and the protection of the material against any duplication until the production and delivery of the support to the client to which the material is destined.
