  • Patent number: 11203255
Abstract: Protection device for a motor vehicle interior having a flexible fabric which is displaceable along a guide direction between a compact, stored rest position and a protection position, outstretched flat at least in sections, a guide device fixed to the vehicle, in a mounted state, on which the flexible fabric is guided in a linear manner along the guide direction. At least one luminous element is provided which is associated with the flexible fabric and which emits light onto the flexible fabric in an operating state. At least one carrier element is provided, the luminous element being positively joined thereby to the guide device.

  • Patent number: 10960744
Abstract: A system for a multi-directional roof cover system includes a vehicle comprising an opening in the top of the vehicle and a cover movably coupled to selectively cover the opening. The cover has a first end proximate a first end of the vehicle, a second end proximate a second end of the vehicle, lateral edges connecting the first end and the second end, and linkages coupling the lateral edges to the vehicle. The cover is actuatable, based on one or more conditions, between a first position in which the cover is closed and covers the opening, a second position in which the cover is open and the first end of the cover is raised relative to the second end of the cover, and a third position in which the cover is open and the second end of the cover is raised relative to the first end of the cover.

  • Patent number: 8361284
Abstract: A method for reducing the height of a defect associated with an air bearing surface of a hard disk drive slider is disclosed. The technology initially ion mills for a first period of time at a first angle relative to an air bearing surface of a disk drive slider to remove a first portion of the air bearing surface. Then the technology ion mills for a second period of time at a second angle relative to an air bearing surface of the disk drive slider to remove a second portion of the air bearing surface. The second portion of the air bearing surface comprises a defect wherein the ion milling at the second angle reduces the height of the defect with respect to the air bearing surface.
