  • Patent number: 9895387
Abstract: Pharmaceutical compositions for treating infection from Helicobacter pylori. are described, containing, as the active ingredients, polysorbate and an antibiotic selected from clarithromycin, metronidazole and a mixture thereof. The invention also concerns the use of such compositions as anti-infective agents for the H. pylori eradication treatment, in particular in a combined therapy with a second antibiotic agent and with a gastric proton pump inhibiting agent, or an antacid, or an H2 receptor antagonist, in a therapeutic protocol known as “triple therapy” for the treatment of peptic ulcer.

  • Patent number: 8232902
Abstract: An embodiment method of generating an output pulse stream comprises first pulse modulating a first multi-bit input term to generate a first one-bit pulse stream, using a bitwise logic AND to combine the first one-bit pulse stream and a second multi-bit term, thereby generating a multi-bit AND output, and second pulse modulating the multi-bit AND output to generate a one-bit output pulse stream representing a product of the first and second multi-bit input terms.

  • Patent number: 7522397
Abstract: An interface circuit includes an input terminal, a controlled current sink, a current measurement arrangement, and a logic circuit. The input terminal is configured to receive an input signal. The controlled current sink is operably coupled to the input terminal, and is operable to controllably take up a current from the input terminal according to a transmission signal. The current measurement arrangement is configured to generate a current measurement signal based on the current taken up by the current sink. The logic circuit is operably coupled to receive the current measurement signal and the input signal, and is configured to generate a signal depending on the input signal.

  • Patent number: 6577171
Abstract: A high side circuit includes at least one power device having a first non-drivable terminal connected to a supply voltage, at least one load connected between a second non-drivable terminal of the power device and ground, and driving circuitry. The driving circuitry includes transistors which are connected to each other and to a higher voltage than the supply voltage in order to control the turning on and the turning off of the power device and to reduce or minimize the potential difference between the second non-drivable terminal and a drivable terminal of the power device during the turning off state to avoid the re-turning on of the same power device.
