Abstract: Screw and drive tool for dental implantology having: one of them, a rounded toothed head, with a series of teeth peripherally distributed; and the other, a prismatic housing with a plurality of longitudinal channels. The above mentioned longitudinal channels have a greater width than the corresponding teeth, so that in the coupling position of the screw with the drive tool, the toothed head is imparted relative rotation of a certain breadth inside the prismatic housing and with respect to the geometric axis of the screw, between: an operative tightening position in which the teeth and the channels contact each other by means of first sides; and an operative loosening position in which the teeth and the channels contact each other by means of second sides.

Abstract: Dental implant having a body provided with an external thread and a head. The head has -at least a frustoconical outer portion with an increasing section, starting from the upper end of the head and having a tapering between 6° and 20° and a height between 0.5 mm and 2.0 mm; and a blind axial housing, in which there are defined: a frustoconical inner section, with a decreasing section, starting from the upper end of the head and having a tapering comprised between 15° and 30° and a height between 0.5 mm and 2.0 mm; a middle section for coupling an actuating tool; and a lower threaded section intended to receive an anchor screw of a dental prosthesis.

Abstract: A surgical clip applier is provided including a housing; a pair of handles; a channel assembly extending from the housing; a clip carrier disposed within said channel assembly and defining a channel and a plurality of windows; a wedge plate slidably disposed within said channel assembly and being operatively connected to said handles, said wedge plate including a plurality of apertures formed along a length thereof; a plurality of clips slidably disposed within said channel of said clip carrier; and a clip follower slidably disposed within said channel of said clip carrier at a location proximal of said plurality of clips. The clip follower is configured and adapted for selective engagement with said windows of said clip carrier and said apertures of said wedge plate to distally urge said plurality of clips relative to said clip carrier upon a distal advancement of said wedge plate.
