  • Publication number: 20040074247
Abstract: Refrigeration appliance comprising at least two storage compartments (10, 11) and a refrigerating circuit comprising a compressor (14), a condenser (15), valve means (18, 19) and two evaporators (12, 13). The compressor (14) is a variable-capacity compressor, and said valve means are constituted by a unidirectional valve (18) and a flow-diverting valve (19) to selectively feed said evaporators via respective throttle means (16, 17). The result is a sensible energy saving effect in the operation of the appliance.

  • Patent number: 6668571
Abstract: A refrigerant compressor driven by an electric motor, whose supply frequency is selectively variable between a discrete number of values (f1, f2, fT) as a function of an input signal, uses control means integrated in the compressor to monitor two or more quantities that are variable with time in a mutually independent manner, of which at least one is representative of the actual operating conditions of the appliance. The control means also generates the input signal with a value that corresponds to a pre-established combination of the monitored quantities.

  • Patent number: 6188320
Abstract: An article identification tag comprises a body defining a channel extending therethrough, an article engaging element forming a loop exteriorly of the body and a portion continuous with the loop extending into and through the channel to a pulling member accessible exteriorly of the body, a size of the loop being changeable by pulling of the pulling member, and structure disposed in the body for maintaining the loop in its changed size.

  • Patent number: 5996862
Abstract: The device for hanging pants and similar garments foldable in two parts is composed of a rigid frame which is provided with a central hook and in the lower part thereof with a rod, the rod being intended to support the garment folded in two parts. The device is characterized by the fact that the frame (1) is formed of a cross-piece (2) and uprights (3) at the extremities, the cross-piece (2) being located at the extremities of the uprights, which act as a guide for the rod (4). The rod is capable of moving along the uprights to be in a lower position and in a raised position in contact with the cross-piece. The blocking of the rod in different positions is achieved by means of a joint of the saw type with teeth which is unidirectional and the toothed surface (5) is located on each of the uprights while the toothed spike is formed on the sleeve (7) which serves as a guide for the rod.

  • Patent number: 4535599
Abstract: A control device for refrigerating equipment endowed with devices to regulate the temperature and the level of humidity in the refrigerated space utilizing temperature sensors located in the refrigerated space and/or in an evaporator and having at least one compressor. The control device includes the basic control components for starting and stopping the compressor depending upon the temperature selected by manual control devices and upon the temperature measured by the above-mentioned sensors. It also includes a secondary control unit which is able to start and stop the defrosting of the evaporator depending upon the level of humidity selected by the above-mentioned manual control devices and obtained after a predetermined number of work cycles by the compressor. The control device in accordance with the present invention allows the optimization of the conditions of food conservation in refrigeration equipment, and further enables an increased efficiency and lowered energy consumption of the equipment.
