  • Publication number: 20240184144
Abstract: The present invention relates to an optical filter for modulating electromagnetic waves which make up a light radiation. configured in such a way as to allow the exclusive transmission of electromagnetic waves which have a wavelength comprised between 520 nm and 590 nm to implement a photobiomodulation treatment. The optical filter comprises a first support layer (1), made of polymeric material and comprising a vegetable pigment derived from lutein, and a second polarizing layer (2).

  • Publication number: 20130267528
Abstract: Trans-epithelial osmotic collyrium for the treatment of keratoconus by corneal cross-linking with UV rays, of the type consisting of a riboflavin-based solution and an absorption enhancement adjuvant consisting of benzalkonium chloryde (BAC). The solution has a hypoosmolarity degree ranging between ?70% and ?30% over an isotonic solution and contains a BAC concentration accordingly ranging between 0.005% and 0.035%.

  • Publication number: 20100286156
Abstract: A collyrium for the treatment of patients suffering from conical cornea contains a riboflavin photosensitizing substance and a surface-active agent to assist penetration of the collyrium into the corneal epithelium. The collyrium does not require removal of the corneal epithelium, with the absence of pain for the patient, who does not need post treatment therapy, and who no longer complains of edema due to the prior art removal of the epithelium, thereby preserving the original corneal transparency.

  • Publication number: 20070265603
Abstract: The apparatus for correction presbyopia comprises a photorefractive surgery laser beam device operating by means of a control program capable of managing the following instructions: extent of at least a first circular area of intervention, which determines at least first laser beam aiming parameters; at least a first depth of intervention in the first area of intervention, which determines at least first intensity and/or duration parameters for the laser beam; at least a first activation of the laser beam with the first aiming parameters an the first intensity and/or duration parameters; extent of at least a second circular area of intervention, concentric, superimposed and with a diameter different from the first area of intervention, which determines at least second laser beam aiming parameters; at least a second depth of intervention in the second area of intervention, which determines at least second intensity and/or duration parameters for the laser beam; and at least a second activation of the laser bea
