  • Publication number: 20220358506
Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems, and non-transitory computer-readable medium for resolving automated teller machine (ATM) errors. For instance, the method may include receiving error information indicative of the error; collecting interaction information, including user information and terminal information, related to the interaction at the terminal; and generating a claim that includes an identification of the claim, the error information, and the interaction information. The method may further include transmitting an indication of the claim to a device associated with the person; analyzing the claim by using a risk exposure model; and selecting, using the analysis of the claim, an exposure value for the claim. The method may continue to determining, based at least in part on the exposure value, whether a claim restitution should be completed; and transmitting, to the device associated with the person, the determination of whether the claim restitution should be completed.

  • Patent number: 10607800
Abstract: The present invention is a power line cut-out switch used in power transmission system comprising a base member having a vertical extension member perpendicularly attached thereon that secures a mechanical jumper used when transferring power lines from one electrical post to another. The vertical member can include a mushroom top member to further secure the mechanical jumper. The mechanical jumper is mounted to the vertical extension member to provide a stable and secure point of engagement when transferring power lines. This avoids electrocution to workers by no longer having to connect the mechanical jumper to flimsy solid jumpers and helps provide more uninterrupted power supply to consumers when installing new posts or shifting old posts to a new location.

  • Patent number: 8762751
Abstract: An apparatus and method of determining a communications mode. An operating condition of a device is monitored to determine if the operating condition satisfies a condition for loss of charging of a power pack of the device. Examples of operating conditions that satisfy a condition for loss of charging of a power pack of the device include determining that a power pack temperature of the power pack exceeds a power reduction temperature threshold and determining that a net electrical current drawn from the power pack exceeds a net charging electrical current delivered to the power pack. In response to determining that an operating condition of a device satisfies a condition for loss of charging of a power pack of the device, a wireless communications mode of the device is switched from a first mode to a second mode, where the second mode consumes less energy than the first mode.

  • Publication number: 20130093385
Abstract: Methods and systems for controlling a power pack charging circuit. While a device is connected to an electrical charging source, a determination is made that an operating condition of a device satisfies a condition for halting charging of a power pack of the device. While the operating condition of the device satisfies the condition for halting charging of the power pack, a power pack output value is determined. While the operating condition of the device satisfies the condition for halting charging of the power pack, a power pack charging circuit output characteristic is set to an output value that is determined based upon the power pack output value to preclude charging of the power pack.
