  • Publication number: 20170303544
Abstract: Biofungicidal composition from a biologically pure culture of a Chilean bacterial isolate obtained from soils of the seventh region of Maule, Chile, corresponding to Paenibacillus polymyxa SCHC33, strain with the deposit number RGM2141 granted by the depository authority of the Chilean Collection of Microbial Genetic Resources (CChRGM) to be used as an environmentally friendly, biological control agent against fungal plant diseases, particularly fruits susceptible to infection by Botrytis cinerea, efficiently inhibiting conidial germination and mycelium proliferation of said phytopathogenic fungus, furthermore protects plant leaves and fruits from infection by the same fungus, and has the potential to be used in biological control of other fungi and in general of phytopathogenic microorganisms.

  • Patent number: 8989547
Abstract: Fiber optic equipment assemblies employing non-U-width-sized housings supporting U-sized fiber optic modules, and related methods are disclosed. In one embodiment, the assembly may include the non-U-width-sized housing, at least one fiber optic equipment support member, and at least one U-sized fiber optic module. The non-U-width-sized housing may include an enclosure forming an internal cavity. The at least one fiber optic equipment support member may be disposed within the internal cavity and configured to support at least one U-sized fiber optic module. The at least one U-sized fiber optic module may be disposed within the at least one fiber optic equipment support member which may be disposed within the internal cavity. The at least one U-sized fiber optic module may have a height dimension wherein at least three of the at least one U-sized fiber optic module may be disposed within a U-unit height of unity.

  • Publication number: 20070167856
Abstract: Methods of processing neuronal signals include processing microelectrode recordings (MERs) or portions of MERs to provide arrays of associated values, such as estimates of power spectral density, or a marginal probability distribution, or a rate of change of a spike rate. Such arrays of values can be displayed, and a classifier can be applied to, for example, aid in associating a MER with a particular brain feature.

  • Patent number: 6055944
Abstract: A storage water heater including a vessel for accumulating a volume of water which is to be heated, said vessel having water inlet and outlet means, at least one gas burner, an exhaust gas outlet and a temperature regulating device. In order to evaluate the storage water heater behavior a calorimetric relationship is defined between the calories supplied by the burner and the volume of the vessel (Q/V) which ranges between 200 and 800 Kcal/H.l.
