  • Publication number: 20250297635
Abstract: A bolt for stress reduction between strap loop applications is provided for reducing stress between strap applications using a novel bolt design. The bolt for stress reduction between strap loop applications may include a head, body, body shank portion, chamfered segment and body threaded portion. The strap may interact with multiple points of contact of the novel bolt to reduce concentration of stress, which may reduce the likelihood of failure. The head is configured to reduce undesired rotation, such that the bolt will remain in the desired position during operation.

  • Publication number: 20170306927
Abstract: A temporary kinetic energy storage-holder and energy transfer devise, comprising of a rotating cable preferably of steel, between two fixed rotating points each a thrust bearings and a one direction rotation hub at the kinetic energy source, coupled to at one end to a kinetic energy capturing devise such as wind turbine, water wheel, animal human or any other kinetic energy generating or collector devise, and at the other end, coupled to an electricity generating devise, a generator, directly or via a geared speed modifier to control generator impute. And all this attached to a supporting structure, tower, pole, pipe column or the ground, to transform kinetic energy into electricity.

  • Publication number: 20160377062
Abstract: A power producing turbine comprising a flexible cable in a torque transmitting transmission, to accumulate force and to attenuate fluctuations in transmitted torque. The turbine includes a tower on which the turbine is mounted, and a generator receiving torque from the transmission. The flexible cable has a ratchet at each end to prevent unwinding. Thrust bearings maintain the flexible cable straight and unkinked. The generator may be located at ground level. The turbine may be a vertical or horizontal axis wind turbine. The flexible cable may comprise for example an assembly of flexible metallic strands.

  • Patent number: 8562298
Abstract: A vertical axis wind turbine having a vertical rotating axle and a plurality of blades each attached to an upper portion to the rotating axle and at the bottom portion to a convex base dome attached to and rotable with the vertical axle. Each blade wraps around the vertical axle and has a radial width that increases from its upper portion to its lower portion while supporting an open brow section forming a cup-like space and a wedge-like stiffener section.
