  • Patent number: 10820892
Abstract: A bone biopsy device includes an outer cannula having a mouth with a cutting edge to section a frustule of spongy bone, a plate mounted slidably within the cannula with a semi-cylindrical portion at its end, and a stylet mounted slidably within the plate and having a pointed tip protruding from the mouth of the cannula to pierce the bone. The mouth has a narrowing and the semi-cylindrical part of the plate has at its end at least one pair of opposed lunettes/anchorages bendable, with respect to a horizontal plane, towards the interior of the semi-cylindrical portion when they encounter the narrowing of the mouth, thereby occluding the lumen of the plate and clasp the base of the sectioned frustule and allow extraction of the frustule by way of the plate whilst the cannula is kept at the operating site, allowing aspiration of marrow after the frustule has been removed.

  • Publication number: 20170173443
Abstract: Ski binding (1) comprising a toe binding (2) and a heel binding (3), configured to be operatively associated to a ski (100) at a upper surface (101) of said ski, and a blocking and adjusting mechanism (4), reversibly actuatable by the user, by means of an operation lever, between a blocking position, at which said toe binding and said heel binding are solidly connected to said ski in a fixed position, and a release position, at which said toe binding and said heel binding are free to slide with respect to said ski.

  • Patent number: 8439846
Abstract: A bone biopsy device includes an outer cannula having a mouth with a cutting edge to section a frustule of spongy bone, a plate mounted slidably within the cannula and provided with a semi-cylindrical portion at its distal end, and a stylet mounted slidably within the plate and provided with a pointed tip which protrudes from the mouth of the cannula to pierce the compact part of the bone. The mouth of the cannula has on its inside a narrowing and the semi-cylindrical part of the plate has at its distal end at least one pair of opposed circumferential sets of teeth adapted to bend radially inwards when they encounter the narrowing of the mouth, to clasp the base of the sectioned frustule and allow extraction of the frustule by the plate while the cannula is kept at the operating site, allowing aspiration of marrow after the frustule has been removed.

  • Publication number: 20090182245
Abstract: A guide device (1, 101) is disclosed for localising a neoplasia that is to be removed during a surgical procedure. The guide device comprises a support (2, 102) that supports a cannula (4) hollow on the inside, provided with a percutaneous tip (40) adapted to penetrate the patient's body, and a guide wire assembly (8) adapted to be inserted slidably in the cannula (4) and provided with a tip (80) adapted to be anchored to a body tissue inside the patient's body. The tip (80) of the guide wire (8) is made from a memory-shape metal wire and initially is shaped as a curl that forms at least a 360° loop.

  • Publication number: 20090177115
Abstract: A biopsy device (1) is disclosed, comprising a syringe body (2) defining an aspiration chamber (23); a piston (4) mounted slidably inside the syringe body and provided with a plunger (42) tightly slidable inside the aspiration chamber (23); a needle cannula (6) mounted on the head (25) of the syringe body (2) and provided with a tip (60) adapted to resect the tissue to be sampled; a stylet (57), integral with the piston and mounted axially on the plunger (42) to slide inside the needle cannula (6) so as to protrude therefrom, said stylet (57) having a percutaneous tip (58) adapted to penetrate the patient's body until it arrives in proximity to the organ to be penetrated; and a conduit (37) for the passage of a fluid, which puts said aspiration chamber (23) into communication with the outside, to inject a fluid inside the aspiration chamber (23) in order to flush the aspiration chamber (23) and the needle cannula (6) so as to extract and to recover the sampled material.
